Our Verdict
Not as good as the five free night certificate offer for most people. That offer is currently available here. That offer we have seen multiple times, so I suspect it’ll come back again at some stage and would recommend waiting for that. Because of that we won’t add this to our list of the best credit card bonuses.

Got this offer on site and app during stay - $300 egift card and 75k for 3k spend + 1 free night every year. Offer link
Saw this offer today when making a dummy booking. Way more flexible than the 5 FNCs offer even if the theoretical max value is lower. So many hotels at vacation destinations are more like 85k+ / night, rendering the 5 FNC offer useless.
Unfortunately the offer went down to $250 and 50k points, horrible!!
Don't see it in the app, must be YMMV.
75k points wont give you 2 nights at most marriot properties right? the $300 gift card is same as cash to be used on any marriot property booking? i would say $200 gift card since there is the $95 annual fee.
5 free nights is the better deal.
how long do i have to use the 5 free nights and do I have to use all 5 nights in one reservation or can carry over?
You can make 5 separate reservations the 5 night cert is valid for a year
personally prefer points as i dont wanna be forced to maximize 5 free night certs within a year
The 5-night certificates still available https://secure26ea.chase.com/web/oao/application/card?sourceCode=H9BD
Has anyone who applied for the 5 night cert deal using 9/8 link actually gotten the bonus after meeting the spend requirements?
Even has its own post. @Will must have forgotten about it. https://www.doctorofcredit.com/targeted-chase-marriott-bonvoy-boundless-five-free-night-certificates-up-to-50000-points-each-bonus/
I saw this offer on Marriot TownPlace Suites website and app;ied and was approved in minutes. I didn't receive e-gift card. I contacted Chase and they said the offer never existed. Now what? I have a card I don't need and feel hoodwinked.
Always get screenshots with the date if possible.
Do you have evidence? Screenshots or terms and conditions from the documents you got when you did the offer? Either way I would file a complaint with the CFPB but if you have evidence you stand a much better chance.
@will This is still alive. I just applied and was approved and got the e-gift card right away. This is a nice alternative to the public "75K for spend + 50K for staying 6 nights" offer that Chase currently has for the Boundless.
This offer seems to be dead now.
I applied for this. Got approved after 1-2 hours. Got the e-giftcard in email after approval. Quite nice and requires zero spend.
