Our Verdict

Nice large discount for a store like Lowe’s. Terms do not exclude gift card purchases, Lowe’s sells a lot of third party gift cards making this an attractive offer for anyone. I’m not sure if this offer is found on Bank Amerideals and the other banks as well.

Deal History:

  • Update 5/16/23: Deal is back and valid through June 30th
  • Update 10/21/22: There’s a new version for 10% back, up to $23 max cash back, expires 11/6/22. (The old 20% version expires tomorrow, 10/22.) (ht GCG)

  • I missed the "One TIme Only" part. I made 2 purchases, but only the first purchase received cashback even though the total was within $250.

  • I got none! 0/2
BTW, the offers are revamped.. Now they will be bigger and more (distracting). So, if they disappeared from your app/site, then most likely they will come back refreshed and a plenty.

    Cheers!

  • My Chase personal checking account debit card got both the 10% Lowe's offer and 10% Best Buy ($25 Cashback Maximum)

  • Found a 10% off Lowes and a 10% off Best Buy - both on a sock drawered business debit card!
    Moral: Sock 'em!

  • First time doing one of these offers so have a question. I added the Lowe's offer on 9/28 and immediately clicked on the Shop Now link and made the purchase. When I check online the offer is now expired (was the previous offer that ended on 9/28) but the offer doesn't show up as a redeemed offer.

Does anyone know if this is how it normally looks until they credit the account in 14 days or should the offer show as redeemed now? Calling the number on my debit card results in no help at all, they say call Lowe's, not our problem!

    • When this happened to me before, it took a few days and eventually showed on the redeemed page AND I got the credit. They are a little slow

      • Thanks. It's been a week but going to wait the 14 days.

Think the problem might be that the amount of the purchase didn't post until 10/4 after I picked up the items yesterday instead of when I purchased them on 9/28. Since the offer expired on 9/29, system might see it as a purchase after it expired. Kept screen shots but don't know where to send them if needed.

        • @guest_1709738 Technically, most companies don't consider a purchase complete until picked up, much like a lot of companies not charging the card until order is shipped but hopefully it will come through. You can use SM through desktop site to contest if needed, attachments are allowed. They'll be able to route it to the right department.

You can get an early look of whether it redeemed by going to the offers wallet and checking the redeemed tab. It usually shows there a few days before it actually posts.

          • @Frey Thanks for your input. One of the FAQ's specifically asks what happens if the transaction posts after the offer expires and says: "As long as you or any cardholders made the transaction before the expiration date and met the requirements of the offer, you should receive a statement credit". Says should and not will so that's not too encouraging.

Been checking the redeemed tab but so far after a week, nothing.

Been trying SM and they kept saying I need to call the number on the back of the card but the last one did kinda leave it open if I don't get the credit within 14 days. Said I can message them back if it doesn't post to my account and that's when I'll attach my screenshots. Just not sure if it is 14 days from the actual purchase or from the date of the transaction showing.

          • @guest_1709738 glad you found that on the FAQ. If it were me Id use the 9/28 date, if anything to support your purchase date. Best of luck.
