Time to buy a refundable ticket to Canada. Hopefully something doesn't come up (like my last 19 trips on Southwest) and I don't have to cancel.
Assume they won't claw back the statement credit if / when a cancelation is necessary?
does boa still offer many cashback offers? I saw huge number of cashback through links only, which are useless
Virtually all of mine (AS Visa card) are through their links, which make them for the most part for me. Pun intended.
And Barclays seems to now have Merchant offers, but they, too, have the link requirement.
Can confirm the Chase offer worked for taxes on an award ticket.

Watch out for foreign transaction fees. Also, your payment will be split up into separate transaction per passenger. So my total was over $160. I got charged foreign transaction fees 4 times for 4 passengers ~ $40 ea; adding to the insult, I didn’t get the 10% back either because of the one time use over $100 requirement ☹️
