Our Verdict

Reader Rajiv saw this on the Sapphire Reserve card and notes that they were able to trigger the offer by purchasing an Amazon gift card via Amazon Fresh at this link (affiliate link). A $60 gift card will max out the $15 cashback.

  • Purchased an Amazon GC on the Amazon Fresh site. The charge posted as "Amazon.com" but was categorized as Grocery Stores. It automatically triggered the offer credit and received 5x UR points on the CSP.

  • Got it on Chase Freedom: 20% back, max $12.

Not on my Chase Sapphire Preferred.

Got it on Bank of America for me and for P2: 10% back, max $6.

  • For those of you who has it on BOA deals, if you have both checking debit and BOA credit cards, does it mean each card can get the deals or just one deal per person? I selected my 3 different checking account & credit cards, all of the deals are the same? TIA!

    • BofA doesn’t separate the deals for each card. There is just one set of deals that applies to all of the cards in your profile. The dropdown menu at the top is for selecting the account for the cash back to be credited to.

  • FWIW, this also worked with a BofA offer that I had for 10% back at Amazon Fresh but for some reason I didn't get the email confirming that the offer triggered for almost a week after I bought the GC's.

  • it says "Offer not valid at Amazon Prime," what does it mean? that is not valid for prime members?
i see the discount promo on my chase account and i made a purchase but the discount does not show up

  • I'm able to order the giftcard via Amazon Fresh, but it fails to deliver as it goes OOS at time of delivery. Others having this problem too?

    • Yes, very annoying. They accepted my order no problem and then proceeded to sit on it until the very end of the delivery window, at which point it was cancelled.
