[Expired] Chase Offers: Save 40% On DoorDash (Max $10 Back)

• FYI: I had the scare where I added the Chase Offer, but it wasn't showing up on my account. I had made a purchase before realizing this though. However, I just got the e-mail that I've redeemed the offer, so seems to just be something that glitches while the Chase Offer is pending.
  P2 still saw the offer in app on 1 card (that we hadn't yet made a purchase)

  June 26 - Bought $25 DoorDash GC, digital through the app.
  June 28 - Posted. Offer disappeared from Added and doesn't show up in Redeemed.
  July 1 - Received email that I redeemed the offer. Now it shows as Redeemed in my offers section.

• Hmmm. i just bought a digital gift card and it showed up as Doordash Gift Cards. Not sure why this is different than other reports. Maybe because I used Google Pay instead of entering the card in the app? This is disappointing, obviously.

  • Update -- my digital gift card purchase posted as DoorDash Gift Cards on 6/30, and I got the email today saying that my offer had been redeemed and the $10 credit is in my account. Oddly, it did not credit me the 5x points for a restaurant purchase, even though it coded as a restaurant. Maybe it will get updated in a day or two, or else I'll have to contact them.

    • Maybe it missed the 5x quarter. Last day and all, those are hit or miss.

      • Actual purchase date was 6/29. Transaction purchase and post date were both 6/30. I know the last day can be a problem if it posts late but I bought it the day before.

• Offer disappeared off my card, doesn't even show in expired. Bullshit from Chase x Doordash.

• Does anyone know if I can choose a credit card instead of doordash credit when it comes to payment? When I go to the place order page, I can't turn off the doordash credit.

  • Yes, order via the website, not through the app.

    • I can't remove the doordash credit on the website either. How did you do that?

  • @guest_1863273 I"ve never found a way to do it myself.

    • I tried it on my 2nd DD account. It has an option of turning off doordash credit as a final payment. I went back to my primary DD account but it doesn't have that. Weird. Maybe, it depends on when you opened the account? The accounts opened more recently has this options?

    • I guess the only way is to create a new account. or gift card purchase (if it triggers Chase offers)

      • I just purchased a gift card today to try it out. Figure I'll know in a week or so and can use my other two cards with the offer.

        • Is it a digital gift card? Was it sent to your email immediately? or the credit loaded to your account immediately?

        • @guest_1863273 Digital gift card. I am in the process of switching accounts with P2 since I had a new Chase card to get me a year free so I sent myself a gift card from P2. A code is sent, not auto loaded.

        • Did you purchase the gc on DoorDash.com or on the DD app?

        • @k2 The charge has posted, DD DOORDASH DOORDASH, coded as a restaurant (Flex). Offer disappeared from added this morning but hasn't shown up on redeemed tab yet. Thinking it will be tomorrow or next day.

• Added the offer to Freedom card on 6/20/24. Discovered today that the offer had disappeared + not listed in added offers. Someone will likely place a DD order unaware that the offer is no longer on their card. There would be no proof other than a screenshot, if available. Chase is so tricky. Thinking they may reinstate the offer for less than 40% cash back.

  • I still see it in my wallet under added in both my Flex and Freedom Unlimited.

    Just purchased a $25 gift card, pending charge show the same as any DD order. Will report back if the credit posts.

• Yesterday, i added it on 3 of my cards. I thought I used it on one of them. Today, when I checked, all the doordash 40% offers were nowhere to be seen. I don't think it worked yesterday either.

  Everyone needs to check again to make sure these didn't disappear.

  • Same...I added it on several cards, and I thought I used it the same day. Checked a couple of days later, and it was gone--credit never posted.

    • Update...the credits did end up posting!

  • Same here. I added it on 3 of my eligible cards but wanted to wait for data points to see if it worked for in app gift card orders. All offers gone now :(

      You should both recheck your accounts as it disappearing was likely a glitch. The reason I think that is because I successfully added the offer to 2 or 3 of my cards earlier today.

• got this offer x3: two credit cards plus my checking/debit card :)

• Received this offer on 2 cards, Freedom Unlimited & Hyatt. Nothing on CSR or other Chase cards. Too bad the max spend is just $25 to get $10 back, but 40% off is still 40% off.

• Got this on a bunch of cards. The restaurants I order from usually offer $5 or 15% off each order, so this will stack nicely.
