Our Verdict

Previous recent best was 85,000 points but that required going in branch. That offer was better as you get more Chase UR points, but most recent online offer was 75,000 points. Nice bit of this offer is that it’s available via referral, so great for people referring P2 or a friend/family member. We will add this to our best credit card bonuses page. Do not share your referrals in the comments below, you can use this linked thread instead. Looks like you can get an additional 10,000 points in branch.

  • I applied for this card with my daughter's referral, on Oct 21. At that time, it showed 60,000 points and $300 travel credit for charging $4000 in 3 months. I got the card and used it. Now Chase says no $300 credit. Unfortunately, I don't have a screen shot. What should I do now? Thanks

    • Ya I'm in the same boat. I haven't written to Chase yet nor met my bonus threshold, but I'm concerned because I'm not seeing anything to document the $300 credit on my end.

      • I called Chase. The CS lady was nice and in 10 minutes she fixed the issue. She added $300 travel credit to my account. This credit is available on Chase Travel only for 12 months from the date of application (Not from the date of Card received).

      • Can we use Doctor of Credit blog or any other blog and say at that time the offer was there? Thanks

  • Where do we see if 300$ credit is available for my card ? I opened the CSP last week at branch for 70k points for 6k spend and 300 travel credit. But CC couldn’t see the 300 travel credit applied on my card.

  • New referral code does not show $300 credit. Does anyone know if I can use a referral used by a friend yesterday for my P2 application?

    • I still see the $300 credit on my sisters referral link. I also came into a chase branch today and got confirmed that the 60,000 + 10,000 + $300 credit offer is valid. As of today

  • @6 Sadly this offer may already be dead for referrals. P2 generated a new referral link but it doesn't have the $300 travel credit language, just the $50 language.

Anyone else seeing the same thing?

  • @2 Looks like the thread made an ugly turn with referral codes being posted here in the wrong thread. Some even posted in both threads. :(

  • i have the original Saphire ( not reserve, not preferred) would i have to cancel the saphire card to be eligible to this promo ?
    - i have not had a bonus in over 48 months for personal chase cards

  • I have the “regular” Saphire card ( nor preferred - not reserve )
Do I need to cancel this card before applying for the preferred ( I’ve not received any sapphire bonus in over 48 months )

    • No, you don't need to cancel it. I would recommend that you product change it to a CF. However, you do need to cancel or product change before applying for a CSP or CSR. Here is the important part of the terms: "This product is available to you if you do not have any Sapphire card and have not received a new cardmember bonus for any Sapphire card in the past 48 months."
