Chase Sapphire Preferred Referral Links Now Showing 80,000 Point Offer

Chase recently increased the sign up bonus on the Chase Sapphire Preferred to 80,000 points after $4,000 in spend within the first four months. Unfortunately referral links were still showing the much smaller bonus, but newly generated links are now showing this increased bonus. Please do not share your referral links in this post, they can be shared in this linked post instead.

  • If one were to sign up for the CSP could they product change to CSR after a few months? Obviously I like this bonus but otherwise this is an inferior card and wouldn't earn a place in my wallet beyond earning the initial SUB.

  • I'm just below 5/24 as of October 7th, assuming being targeted for just for you offer of Chase Ink Preferred doesn't count from what I read. Advice says to wait until end of the calendar month just to be safe...would you all agree, Nov 1 application? Also, is this offer scheduled to be around for another 2-3 weeks? I had the chase sapphire preferred once before, but it was about 7 years ago, so should be eligible.

  • YMMV. Applied for Chase Ink Preferred 100K promo offer, went to pending, auto approved today after waiting patiently for 5 days. No need to call etc. So all SP business owners, looks like chase is approving them now unlike till last month. YMMV though.

    • How many other cards do you have total with Chase? I would apply as a SP but I think across my four cards (two biz/two personal) I’m close to my exposure limit. Do have some big household improvement spending coming up and would love to get second Ink (EIN), or CIU, and pair it with my P2 getting the CSP for 130,000 to 160,000 UR points.

  • Is anybody else concerned about referring someone and then a better Chase Sapphire Reserve offer popping up? Getting a little 1/48 FOMO here...
Any insiders know if they are planning anything with the Reserve?

    • I'll see your FOMO and raise you YOLO. Even if they were to have another 100k offer on CSR I doubt they'll waive the AF so this would still be a better deal in my opinion.

      Whatcha gonna do?

  • I should have been a little more patient. I kept checking and finally my wife was approved Sept. 24.

  • I try to use referral links of those whose comments are constructive or contribute useful info to the site, but I don’t recognize any of the users in the linked post ha!

I’ll be applying later in the month, so hoping I pick a referrer who deserves it!
