Our Verdict

This is better than the 75,000 offers we often see, and is an ideal time of year for maximizing the companion pass. This offer is also showing on referrals currently as well (do not share your referrals in the comments below). We’ll add this to our list of Best Credit Card Signup Bonuses. • As of 7:40 am Eastern on Sunday, the 85k personal card offer is still available via previously generated referral links, even though it was supposed to end Thursday.

DPs from previous promotions show that if the application still loads and you are approved, you will get the elevated bonus, even if you apply after the stated deadline.

    • When I use my wife's old referral link, it says "The offer your are attempting to access is no longer available, you will be redirected to the most current offer. If you are not automatically redirected, click here." But when I click on click here, it just stays on the same page and says 85k. Is this what is happening with yours?

      • @guest_1935005 Also, if you click my name, you can explore for yourself how my referral link behaves and compare it to yours.

      • @guest_1935005 No, mine doesn't do that - it is steady on the 85k offer. And when I "click here to apply", the application still loads.

  • I can’t get this bc I’m 4/24 right now but I’m curious for the future…. Can you redeem 85k airline points for 8.5k cash? Or is that only for UR points? Thanks!

    • Lol @guest_1934135 for thinking that 85k points = $8.5k cash. Even if you could do cash, it would be more like $850.

    • UR points would be $850 not $8.5K, but no. Southwest miles though are a fixed value of 1.3 cents per point or so with no blackout dates so very easy to use. Any flight can be bought with points, so say a Southwest flight was going for $130 it would be 10K points.

    • No. You normally cannot redeem airline miles for cash. And 85k would be $850. Miles often have nominal value around 1 cpp. Not 10 cpp!

  • I’m a day late just clicked on the direct offer and it’s 60,000 points instead of the 85,000

  • If I want to report information about Coinbase doing a survey for launching a new premium credit card how do I share that info here to Chuck?
