Chase Releases New Chase Ink Business Unlimited Card – 1.5% On All Purchases

Update 05/22/18: Card is now live, more information here.

Update 05/19/18: Reposting just in case this is your last chance to get the Chase Ink Cash.

Chase will release a new business card on May 20th called the Chase Ink Business Unlimited card. It has the following features:

  • $500 sign up bonus after $3,000 in spend within 3 months
  • Card earns 1.5% cash back on all purchases
  • No annual fee

It’s not clear if this card will replace the Chase Ink Cash card, or if both will be offered alongside each other. This is basically just a business version of the Chase Freedom Unlimited, when that card was released the regular Chase Freedom was kept along side it. That being said if you’re interested in the Chase Ink Cash, I’d recommend signing up sooner rather than later if you’re eligible especially as it currently comes with a $500 bonus. This new card will likely be subjected to the Chase 5/24 rule, but keep in mind Chase business cards do not count towards your 5/24 total. This means if you’re over 5/24 you won’t be eligible, but if you’re under 5/24 you’ll be eligible and it won’t count as a card towards your total.

  • Why some other forums say the sign-up bonus and 1.5x back is UR points? What is it? Chase site says cash. Confusing...

    • All Chase branded cards earn Chase UR points. Unless you have a premium card the points can only be redeemed for cash back, so Chase advertises it as a cash back card. But in reality you can transfer to travel partners if you have a premium card.

  • Do we have any idea if this might have 0% intro APR like the Freedom Unlimited?

  • It's up on their website and the CIC is still there, so maybe it won't be going away? At least it's not going away immediately.

  • I just talked to Chase bank today and they said today (Sunday) you can product transfer (with no bonus) since it came to the market today. However, he said I should wait until Monday or Tuesday, once it gets published online, where you can apply and get the bonus.
I have both the Chase Ink Bus Preferred and Ink Bus Cash, and he said I can apply to this new card without issue, and have all 3.

  • Chase just closed my old Ink card due to inacativity, but I wonder if they would offer me this instead? I'm over the 5/24 but I think I will go in-branch and see.

    • First ask them to reinstate your card, then do a PC. Can be done over the phone.

  • Thanks for the heads up.

I've just cashed out my 50,000 UR (plus more 5% category points) from the ink cash bonus today. I'll be looking forward to applying for this new 1.5 % Ink card and pocketing another $500.
