  • Chase United cardholders can receive a 30% bonus on miles earned with participating partners (up to 2,000 bonus miles). You must register and complete transactions by May 25th and transactions must post by August 31st, 2018. Qualifying partners are:

The Fine Print

  • Offer only valid for primary United MileagePlus Chase Cardmembers whose accounts are active and in good standing
  • The 30% bonus miles offer is not applicable to miles earned from Chase for spending on a United MileagePlus Chase credit card
  • Each member may earn a maximum of 2,000 bonus award miles from this promotion
  • Qualifying partners are: MileagePlus Shopping, MileagePlus Dining, MileagePlus X, Opinion Miles Club, and Rocketmiles

Our Verdict

Obviously not a huge bonus, but a lot of people use MPX anyway so would be useful for that. For MPX this 30% bonus is on top of the 25% bonus you normally receive. Fingers crossed we get a portal bonus sometime soon as well that will stack.

  • Wow, when is the beginning date? At least my 5/2 MPX purchase got this 30% bonus, and best of all, the 1000 Mystery Bonus also got this 30% bonus.

  • Sorry for the stupid question, but do we need to actually use out United cc to get these bonus miles?

    • Actually no. (Not a stupid question.)

      As long as your United CC is linked to your MP account, you can use another CC in order to triple-dip (or quadruple-dip) on dining category bonuses.

  • So basically to maximize promo, one could expect to get 2k miles for earning 6,667 miles.

  • Do you earn points when using a gift card for the entire purchase balance through the shopping portal? I made a purchase through the shopping portal at Overstock with a gift card I bought through MPX. There is no transaction in my account but there is a store visit with an order number and an order amount of $0.00.

  • Nice stacking possiblity with the MPX mother's day promo & Chase card bonus. Example: $50 Old Navy GC x10 x1.25 x1.3=812.5 miles or 16.25 miles/dollar. Add another 50 miles for the purchase if you pay with the Chase card (after statement closes)
