Don’t think this one will payout for a long time considering that they are still taking action against some of the chicken producers yet to settle. Although the terms state that might be subject to a separate settlement.

  • Those damn chickens must be stopped! Always pecking at others, and pooing everywhere...disgusting. Finally, some generous, altruistic class action lawyers are holding them accountable.

    • @guest_1557782 "Indirectly purchased" is a term of art in antitrust law. It means that you were a retail purchaser, and did not buy directly from the producers who are being sued. Wholesalers and supermarkets would be examples of direct purchasers.

    • Don't worry. I'm on my third one now. This thing has been dragged on for long. I hope they are diligent on removing duplicate requests. Though I did accidentally duplicate submission on Lenovo one and I got 2 checks.

  • Oh boy get ready to receive your electronic QR code or mailed unscannable upc coupons/certs for that generous $0.25 off chicken discount at the store where they don't accept/scan coupons.

  • $181 million and it impacts more than half the country?

The per claimant payout is going to be embarrassingly low

  • Qualifying question 2 states you must have been an actual resident of the state you purchased chicken in to qualify....not just a visitor buying for those wondering.

"2. Did you purchase the chicken product while a resident of one of the following states: California, District of Columbia, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, or Wisconsin?
