Our Verdict
Standard bonus on this card is 60,000 miles. There is also an offer for $400 + 30,000 miles, this offer is better unless you value miles at under 1¢. It used to be possible to apply for an offer with a statement credit and then match to the higher miles offer but that hasn’t been possible in some time. I suspect this is the highest we will see this bonus for awhile, so it’s worth considering if you have a short to medium term use of AA miles and we will add it to the best credit card bonus page.

Also, what bureau do they pull? Thank you!
From my experience, and I have like 10 DPs (I live in CA) for personal cards they always pulled EX, for biz sometimes EX sometimes EQ.
Thank you VL, they pulled EX for me - I am NE. Actually thinking about going for the biz version in December so good dp! Do you know about MS with Citi? Gift cards @ staples sale.
Any applications DP? I am planning on going for this before the 7/14 deadline. I am a bit worried about the approval odds I am seeing with the Citi Premier. My credit is 800+ across all 3 bureaus and I am at 1/24.
P1 & P2 both got easy approval this week -- both got instant denial for the premier a few months ago (for that stupid reason of low utilization), so it looks a very different system!
Got approved on 07/12. My utilization just happened to be 'high' at 6% - 7% in 3 out of my 11 personal accounts - all the rest at 0%. I went for it and got a $12.4K limit, as my first Citi card. They pulled EX - I am in NE.
Do you know how they are about MS? Staple gift cards?
I have this Citi AA card for years (10+). Will I be eligible for the bonus if I now open a second account? Or will I not et approved since I have an open account?
Is there any way to determine if you will receive the bonus? I cannot recall when I last had a Citi AA card.
If you got your last bonus more than 48 months ago, you are eligible. I would wait till it is full 48 months. So if you got it Mid October, I would wait till Nov 1st (for example). I know that with biz cards they go by the AA account (person) not the biz. Personals are much simpler - if you got your bonus on or before 06/30/2018 you are eligible after Jul 1, 2022.
