• Does it have to be from the Uber eats app or from the website will also work ?

• These Uber One credits never post correctly for me. Tried 3 times in the past and the clueless Citi reps had no idea what to do. Basically had to beg a supervisor for credit. Has existing Uber One users here successfully gotten credit back from Citi before with this offer?

  • I've never had any issue getting the credits for Uber One as a previous member. They usually post weeks later but they post eventually fro me.

        • Same here! I bought it on the Android Uber Eats app before and it posted as "UBER PASS 8005928996 CA Digital Account Number XXXXXXXXXXXX". 0 out of 3 transactions before triggered Citi's credit.

  • Basically ran into the same situation as you. Was lucky enough to get a good citi rep who couldn’t credit me the $9.99 but instead gave me 5k citi points which is essentially $50 cash

• Does anyone know if it is possible to buy an Uber Gift card for the Uber ride offer?
  Also does offer works on Uber accounts which are NOT new?

  I have a bunch of rides that I plan in October, however the offer expires on 9/19, so was hoping for a way to trigger this offer earlier by buying a GC/funds etc. Thanks.

  • yes it works. takes a few days to post, so have to be patient.

• A faster expiration this time around but it's good to see Citi renew this offer.

  • Someone at Citi told me that Uber is paying for this promo (most of it is my guess). Kind of odd that they would go with Citi Merchant Offers and not do it through Amex Offers, given their existing partnership with amex plat/gold. I wish they would change it to amex offer eventually, no problem triggering credit or getting credit from amex reps!

• Have 3 citi card and initially nothing showed on the first 2. I added an uber one on the third one but it showed 8/31/22 expiration, decided to reload the page and check all 3 again and all 3 showed both uber one and uber eat expiring 9/19/22.

  • Had the same issue here, went to the page and the new deals did not show, I think clicked around a bit and then it showed up.

• I save almost the same amount by buying directly from the restaurant and skipping the uber fees.

  • The app sometimes offers discounts or things like a $25 discount on your first order and when you combine it with a deal like this can make it worthwhile.

• Has any one receive the credits from Citi for Uberone? it has been two months no credit for me

  • I got Uber and Uber Eats credits, but not the uber one credit either

  • No credit for my June or July uber one. Rep told me to wait another month. Such BS

    • Uber one is sneaky. If you have any uber cash in your account (including from amex), uber one pulls from your cash balance first, not your listed credit card when you signed up. Found out the hard way.

      • You can toggle cash off.

        • At least for me, the option to toggle off Uber Cash does not exist on the Uber One payments. It does exist for Uber Eats and for rides, but not for Uber One. I've had to contact customer service several times over the past several months to address this very issue.

• Did not get the UberEats or UberOne offers this round. Only the Uber offer $10 off first ride.
