The Offer
- Get 75,000 bonus Thank You points when signing up for a Citi Prestige card and spending $7,500 within three months
- Pay just $350 annual fee when signing up in-branch
The in-branch $350 fee is for Citi relationship customers only – Citigold, Citi Priority, or Private Banking clients. It’s a standard offer for relationship clients, but the 75,000 offer didn’t click in together with the $350 fee until a couple of days ago.

Our Verdict
In the past, people who weren’t relationship clients were able to get bankers to push through a $350 application for them, but that might be a thing of the past.
Another important thing is that I believe Citi relationship clients used to get the $350 annual fee even when they applied online; the system automatically recognized them and billed them the lower annual fee. Again, I’m not sure if this still holds true – please let us know in the comments.
We’ve written a few posts about the 75,000 offer which is available online as well with the $450 fee:

I opened the card and a priority checking account online. Just confirmed that my fee will be $350.
did you get confirmation from the banking or credit card site? i just opened both online and neither can confirm or deny
My fee just posted for $350.
Max, did you open the checking account before or after credit card application? I am think about applying the card first, if denied then there is no need to open the checking account.
Hopefully we will see some real DPs of folks getting this in branch! Will be trying this myself in a few weeks!
My cat just ran across the road and climbed a tree
I'll be the first to post an actually relevant DP. My 2-year-old Prestige just posted AF and it's still $350, even though I downgraded my Citigold more than a year ago.
Planning on opening a 2nd Prestige to churn. I will probably go for the online app and hope it still recognizes me as Citigold like my 1st card did.
Blease post again about your luck with the 2nd prestige. Thousands of readers (well, me) are waiting to hear DP's about this (mine renews next month).
YMMV don't know where to post this but recieved offer on AMEX PRG. Spend 2k get 25k more points in 2.5 months after enrolling for it. Got 50k bonus 3 months ago
The $350 relationship annual should be available online. Citi does not have a brnach everywhere and they should know that. Unless of course their IT is saying they have branch where they're not supposed to. Certainly not in Hawaii.
I am not a relationship client, didn't apply for the card, and didn't get the card. Hope the datapoint is useful to someone.
this is actually really funny because i assume you are mocking the n00bs who consistently give BS DPs.
"0/24 instant approval CSR. no checking. first chase card. 6 month credit history. hope this helps someone."
LOL stop the hate I actually thought it was funny!
we're gonna need more DPs of this
found this DP very useful! thanks!
Interesting, I am not a relationship client, didn't apply for the card, and yet I got the card. So YMMV.
U r a piece of shit. Ur mom should've swallowed u.
That escalated quickly.
Agree. Thought it was mildly funny. But no need to resort to abusive language.
You're a funny guy. Life of the parties I presume.
he tried too hard.
Yes. Party of one.
The lead was so obvious
