Original Post 5/8/24:
When searching “Citi Strata Premier” on duckduckgo it’s currently possible it see the full details of the new Citi Strata Premier card (not accepting applications yet). Card details as follows:
- 75,000 points after $4,000 in spend within the first three months
- Bonus ThankYou® Points are not available if you have received a new account bonus for a Citi Premier ® or a Citi Strata Premier ℠ account in the past 48 months.
- $95 annual fee (not waived first year)
- Card earns at the following rates:
- 10x points on Hotels, Car Rentals and Attractions booked through CitiTravel.com
- 3x Restaurants (including takeout)
- 3x Supermarkets
- 3x Gas Stations and ev charging
- 3x Air Travel
- 3x Hotels
- 1x on all other purchases
- $100 off on a single hotel stay of $500 or more (excluding taxes and fees) once per calendar year through Thankyou.com
- New insurance:

Basically exact same benefits and structure as the current Citi Premier card, only difference is permanent addition of the 10x category and also 3x on ev charging. Hopefully the Citi Strata Prestige is a bit more exciting.

I absolutely regret churning this card. My card got flagged for 'fraudulent activity' about 5 times now in a month (traveling for the holidays) and now I have to wait for verification letters to arrive in the mail to unlock it. After some research it seems like it's a common problem with Citi. I've never had issues with other banks before.

3rd year annual fee of $95 just posted. Called the # on the back of the card looking for a retention offer. Was offered to spend $1,000 per month for the next 3 months in order to receive a $95 statement credit and a 1,000 point bonus
Insta-denied. According to my records I have been denied Citi TY Premier ever year for the past few years.
my denial letter says reasons:
high amount of unused credit compared to available credithigh number of bank or revolving accountsI mean, yeah. That's me
Same.

Kept getting "This page is temporarily unavailable. Please try again." when I tried to submit the application. Happened two days in a row.
Is the 24 month limitation based on 24 months since account closed or 24 months since you recieved the actual sign up bonus? I had a Citi Premier before that I closed back in Feb 2023 which is within 24 months, but received the bonus way back in like March 2022 which is more than 24 monthsy.
Approved today. $11K.
In Colorado, pulled EX at 2/6 and 6/12 on inquiries (was hoping they would have pulled EQ with fewer inquiries but no dice). 2/12 and 2/24 on new accounts.
800 score and utilization at 1% according to EX.
Have an existing DC for many years, minimal usage outside of interesting merchant offers.
Had Citi personal checking earlier this year, but closed 2+ months ago.

I had the previous version of this card and just want a cashback bonus without the hassle of dealing with point conversions. This card is definitely a hit the bonus and then cancel card.
data point, denied, anyone tried the reconsider option and which phone number to call? Thanks
recon, failed, weird reason, too many unused credit. I recently refi my mortgage, maybe that has an impact. I am more than 65 days away from my last citi cc.
