Our Verdict

Seems like a bonus worth doing if it’s a soft pull. Requirements are easy and no monthly fee to worry about either. If anybody goes for this bonus then please share your experience in the comments below.

  • Denied online. But went into branch and account was opened in 10 min. Soft pull experian. I’m not sure if Chex was pulled.

Funded 100, bonus posted next day

  • FYI, Almost blew the bonus by making my $500 credit card deposit into the Saving account and not moving $100 of it to my Checking account by October 31st.

  • Just an FYI for those thinking about closing the account - I have been an Ent member for 4+ years (so unfortunately couldn't do this deal), and every year on December 1st they deposit $30 in my account with the "Ent Rewards" program, details here: https://www.ent.com/entextras
$10 for online banking, $10 for an activated debit card, and $10 for estatements.
One note, my latest mailer says "Look for a new Ent Extras program coming soon!", so perhaps the days of a free $30 every year are ending. Just wanted to give a heads up to those deciding whether to close or not.

  • Now that the bonus has posted, how much money do I need to leave in each account (checking and savings) for the 90 days?

    • I think the only requirement is to leave the accounts open, you could probably get away with $1 in checking and $6 in savings (since $5 is held as the CU membership).

  • I went to a branch yesterday and got a debit card issued as it didn't show up in the mail after a week. Super easy, took about 5 mins.

Bonus posted today into the savings account.

    • Same here for my P2 and P3 - in and out in 5 mins, got the bonus this AM, then of course, the original cards showed up in the mail today.

  • Debit card arrived yesterday, activated it the $200 bonus posted today in the savings account. Also, received email confirming bonus.

I did call in because I was worried mail would be delayed due to weather and the rep confirmed you can go into branch if the card doesnt arrive in time. Super easy without worrying about DD and posting still time for those that want to go in branch for card.

  • Opened online, pickup up card at branch, bonus posted within 48 hours of opening the account. CC fund posted to discover as services.
Wow. Possibly nicest/easiest bank I've ever dealt with (out of about 50 banks).

  • easiest bonus ever. joined online and picked up debit card in a branch the same day, bonus posted the next day. $500 posted as purchase on bank of america amtrak card.
