they charge .99c per trade and then part goes to IRS. I am not complaining but want to know how is this lucrative ? Any option to avoid .99c per trade . i believe we cannot combine different coin types in each trade . correct me if i am wrong .

Just curious, how long did it take to get the sign up reward for you guys? I signed up directly for the $5 reward once I make a 1st purchase, made the purchase, the reminder to get the $5 is now gone but there's no $5 BTC promised. Tried the help but got nowhere as they simply sent me a canned response and then closed the ticket. I'm a bit surprised by the lack of customer support.

Same here, almost seems like certain Coinbase users receive offers on a delay (e.g. they're 1-2 coins behind the latest and greatest offering).
