    • me too few days ago to help meet spend req in my alaska visa card. saw this today and i purchased few again. the ones with pin are good. Used to receive pinless ones from samsclub couple of years ago and they rarely worked. called panda cust and sent me new cards with the pin.

    • the ecard with pin are easy to use. now panda website accepts panda gift card so you no longer have to waste 10 mins swiping, manually entering the card number at panda store and only to be rejected.

    • Yes! These gift cards can't be used at airport, university, or stadium locations. That has been my experience in the past but this Costco doesn't have that language. It never made sense to me it's a freaking gift card. Caveat emptor

      • While Costco doesn't have that specific language, they do state that it's valid at participant Panda Express stores and provides a link to all the locations. I suppose that Panda Express provides the copy for their resellers.

      • I believe it's because those are not owned by Panda the corporate. The same thing applies to Starbucks (i.e. cannot use Sbux giftcards at Barnes and Nobles stores, etc)

    • In my experience they just type the gift card in. Even with a physical card they still have to type the pin in anyways.

    • My only issue in the past is that sometimes they can't scan them so they need to manually type them

  • Panda is superior on all counts (including food safety and hygiene) compared to the average hole-in-the-wall suburban America Chinese restaurant.

    • This seems to be a popular opinion among the whitest white people who never have and never will understand or appreciate real Chinese food in any context. You probably also think fortune cookies are Chinese.

  • I know Panda Express isn't the best Chinese food, but once in a while, having it in the mall is satisfying after some shopping lol

    • It's my favorite place for orange chicken, that includes all other places where I've tried them (including possibly in Beijing/Shanghai...though to be fair, i don't think i tried orange chicken more than once while in China)

  • They have good fortunate cookies though. Maybe you need some encouragement for your next bank bonus

  • If you like Chinese food worse than Hy-Vee (grocery store) Chinese food, choose Panda Express.

    • β€œ Great discount for personal use.”

Great discount for a gift for people you don’t really like.
