    • I don't see $74.99 price at Costco. It shows up as $79.99. I think this is old title from when they had $5 coupon.

      • It is perpetually 80 bucks. Starting 1/29 you get another 5% off. Max 2 every 14 days.

As someone who lives in a big city with no car and used both uber and uber eats often, this Costco membership I signed up for 6 months ago had paid massive dividends.

      • Just go into the store and buy it. They never stop me. I can buy 2 cards packs of 2 x $50 each time during biweekly Costco trips.

    • Wait, are you saying it won’t work on preservers? I did it last month I think it charged my gift card

  • I was scrolling thru The Uber eats app and just came across $10 off 20, site wide. I'm also seeing quite a few restaurants that are $11 off $40... I personally have a 40% off $12 max (funny thing about that is I swear I',ve redeemed the two that I was allowed to redeem, yet still have one remaining...

    • All those promos are delivery only. The massive discounts just barely cover the Uber fees (compare to pickup with no coupons).

      • With the 20% off giftcards and 40% off orders of $25 or more, you can usually get your meals for less than if you picked them up.

  • Kept getting order cancelled online. Tried 3x with different cards, all cancelled. Ended up just going in store and picked up 2x$100 for $150

  • Just bought 30 of these at my local costco totalling 3k costing me $2250 (mainly to use for uber eats pickup orders) Initially asked to buy 4 and the cashier pushed me to buy as many as I wanted in separate transactions!

  • Even better than discounted Uber rides, make friends with the Uber driver and pay them in cash next time. The driver only makes like 50% of the amount you pay, then pay taxes on top of that, so many will gladly take 50-60% of the Uber rate as cash.

Especially if you take airport rides a lot, you can build your own roster of freelance Uber drivers for when one or more is not available.

    • The ones in my area are weird they all like going through the app and I know there are no promos. Very few take my cash offer at 100% of my fare. And when I ask them what they get paid it is usually half or a little over.
