Curve ‘All In One’ Card [USA Program Ending]

Update 6/7/24: The Curve program in USA is ending. They say they’ll be back with a better product at a later date.

Update 11/20/23: Cash back program is ending 1/4/24 and card is also closing to new applicants.

Update 3/10/22: Card is now live for the first 100 people. Card is offering 10% back for six months, on up to $10,000 in spend. Currently you can add debit, Mastercard and discover cards, but no Visa or American Express. Card also runs as a credit card rather than a debit card. Hat tip to reader John

Update: We have more information on the card, it’ll offer 1% cash back for the first month and the first 100 in line will get 10% back (you can move up the line by referring people).

The Curve Card is an all in one card and they have added a waitlist page announcing that the product will becoming to America. Last we heard they had planned to launch in 2019, so hopefully this waitlist being added means the product will be launched here soon. Rather than rehashing details about the Curve card Head For Points has a good introductory article (although it’s very much U.K. focused). Curve briefly had American Express support but that is no longer available.

  • I was an earlier adopter of this card in Europe, and they shut me down for complaining on Twitter for the lack of customer service (double charges were fairly common and no dispute support whatsoever). Glad to see them go away completely. With the rise of mobile wallets, these guys are obsolete and just a points churning platform.

  • For someone who has 5 Custom Cashes, Rewards Plus, Premier and SavorOne, it saves me from carrying a STACK of cards. Let alone waiving FTF while out of the country.

    It will be missed!

  • I had limited use for this. But, it did work online for some foreign merchants so I could use a better card. Also, it sometimes coded some transactions as "other business" which I used with a biz ccr

  • I really enjoyed the Curve card - especially when trying to maximize bonus category cards Freedom Flex, Citi Custom and Discover. But I am not sure who the card was for - I don't really see how it helps regular people with 2 or 3 cards who don't really know much or care much about their rewards.

  • this thing was/is dead in the water as long it doesn't support visa CC. like 90% of my cards are VISA, dafuq were they thinking?

  • This, like most other things with Curve, has been so poorly executed. Standard protocol when a fintech switches banks, is to reissue cards with the new bank — not reduce credit limits — then just close everyone’s account, and start over. That has consequences on folks’ credit reports! Is this even compliant with credit law?

  • I'll miss Curve. Go back in time was killer when combined with Bilt Rent Day for 6x Dining, 4x Travel.
