DIRECTV customers have lost access to various Disney-owned channels since September 1st. As the dispute gets sorted out, DIRECTV is offering some customers a $30 credit due to the loss. They don’t make it so easy to get the credit; you need to navigate the menus to see if you’re eligible. It might be possible to call in as well for the credit.

I applied for the credit and it let me know that the $20 would be applied by the next business cycle which is disappointing as they want to make you wait. They only now updated it to a $30 credit meaning you have to enter your email address in again and now it says it will be credited over 2 billing cycles. And also it says my email address is already entered so wont confirm a second time for the extra $10 credit. Even this credit is a joke as they could easily apply it instantly to make up for the lost networks but dont care.
Call them. They give it immediately.
Thanks 5150! I just took your advice and they manually applied the $30 to my next bill rather than waiting for the $20 one.
