Our Verdict
Check your emails, I got this offer, as did readers M. and Jim and John, but it may well be targeted. Pretty easy $10 since Paypal is accepted in so many places.
They make mention of linking your Paypal account with your Discover account. The link in the email will take you to a special page where you link Discover with Paypal, this official linking option helps so that the card always remains up to date, even when the expiration or CVV changes. You can find this page within your Discover login by going to the ‘Manage’ tab and selecting ‘Link with Paypal’.
I don’t think linking is required for the bonus, just any Paypal purchase on Discover will work, but I did it anyway to be sure.

how is it "targeted" when no activation required? most targeted offer requires activation. i believe this 10% offer is for anybody as long you paying with PayPal and use discover card as payment.

Initially, I got excited only to realize max reward is $10 on $100 purchase.
I got this email last month, and again this month. Anyone also in this boat? I already maximized this earlier in the month fully. Wondering if I get 2 bites of the apple on this one.

I understand this as getting the reward PER Discover account that has the offer. I have it in 4 IT accounts so I can avail of the offer on each one if I want to.
did not receive an email, but saw a banner when logging out... spent the money, but credit has not posted yet.
it's hard to tell in Discover how the credit is posted. I spent $40 + $40 + $20 back in March 3 but statement hasn't closed yet so I can't tell if the bonus is posted.
Used. Sadly it didn't stack with a eBay sitewide coupon.
