Our Verdict
Previous best was $300. This would take a 5/24 slot and you have to pay the annual fee so this is really a $351 bonus. Might be tempting for some people (especially as you can’t get CSP + CSR now) if you’re valuing cash bonuses highly. For most people going for other Chase cards will be better value though. We will still add it to the best credit card bonuses.

@2 The $400 offer is back.
After meeting the $1000 spend how soon after does the $400 statement credit post?
It posts when the final transaction meeting the $1000 spend posts.
Back down to $300 now
what does this mean: " (especially as you can’t get CSP + CSR now)" those cards are unavailable?
It takes 48 months to reapply for the SUB, so people can consider this and other cards while they wait
Fyi you get the same disneyworld/land benefits with the debit card, if you have a chase checking account you can call to product change to a disney debit card.
The credit/debit card also gives discounts at select resturants at disneyworld/land
The downside to the Chase debit card approach is that you have to use the card for the actual purchase and therefore lose out on earning points. I was bummed out about it when I showed up at Disneyland with mine. 10% off was obviously still better than whatever points earning my other cards had, but at higher dollar amounts it can make a difference.
Then again, people who shop frequently at Disney must not worry about money all that much... ;)
does 5/24 rule apply to this card in order to be approved for it? i understand it'll obviously take up a 5/24 slot. but do i need to be under 5/24 to have a chance or is that requirement only pertinent for CSP/CSR/Ink family of chase cards?
You have to be under 5/24 across all recent cards to be approved.
Youn can get a Disney Debit card from chase to get the perks listed
This was already covered in https://www.doctorofcredit.com/chase-increases-cash-signup-bonus-on-disney-cards-to-250-400/ so those interested should check out the comments.
I wondered why the new post. I don't understand what's different.
That info is out of date. Offer page shows airline or Disney bucks to what I can find.
I think that's always been the case. As I said in the previous thread, the rewards will be useless for most of the readers since only the nice SUB will be interesting. Redeeming points for Disney rewards requires around $2k spending and redeeming for airfare credit requires around $5k spending.
Confirming you cannot redeem the SUB for cash direct deposit or statement credit (other than airline purchases)?
I think the statement credit is a statement credit. Did someone tell you otherwise?
Says airline credit on the website.
Go to the Direct Link in this post. Near the top of the page, you'll see:
$400 Statement Credit
after you spend $1000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening.*
I'll assume you overlooked that before and aren't being deliberately obtuse.
The "statement credit toward airline travel" is in reference to redeeming Disney Rewards Dollars. Nothing to do with the signup bonus.
Thank you, yes - I missed that obvious wording and my mind went to the negative of seeing later on statement credit tied to airline.
No, it's a statement credit for the SUB. It's separate from rewards earned. If you want to be a high roller with this card, you can eventually use $50 in rewards for airfare credit.
Applied for this card at 6/24 and was approved. However, I do want to note that I had a pre-approval offer mailer that might have made it possible to bypass 5/24.
