The Offer
Dosh is a loyalty and cash back program, you can read our full review here. They have a referral program which usually gives the referrer and the new member $5 each.
- For the next few days, through October 1, they are offering the new member a $10 bonus instead of $5.
- They also offer $2 for linking two cards.
Note: In order to be eligible for a Dosh signup bonus, you need to link a card and also receive your first cash back from a purchase (signup bonus cash back does not count).
The Fine Print
- Referral bonus is paid when the referred individual clicks on the referrers unique link, downloads the app, completes the sign-up process by adding a valid credit or debit card, and receives cash back from a Dosh offer or travel deal.
- Note: Referral bonuses are subject to first email verification.
- Cash back from connecting a credit or debit card does not qualify for a referral bonus.
- Offer good through Sunday 10/1/17 at 11:59 pm CST.
- Additional $5 will be added to each user’s Dosh Wallet within 2 business days.
Our Verdict
You can use my Dosh referral link and get the $12 bonus ($10 + $2 for adding two cards) or find a friend who got the offer and use theirs. I’ll also get $5 if you use it.
I’m not sure if everyone’s referral link has the $10 offer attached or it’s targeted to some. I got the email, and I’d guess everyone did in which case you can also grab a referral from the comments in our Dosh referral thread.
Hopefully, readers will come up with an easy way to meet the cash-back-earn requirement. Else you can just use it by making a small purchase at a local eatery.
I haven’t found Dosh to be very useful (though I haven’t tried it out much either, to be honest). Seems to be basically a shopping portal and a card-link program for restaurants. The portal isn’t useful unless their rates are better than others. And the card-link runs on Empyr – essentially, you’re choosing them over another provider who uses Empyr. Let us know if I’m missing something.

I did get the bonus $5 after 2 business days as promised. I had no issues receiving $1 for each of the first 2 cards I added.
Interestingly, I placed an online order with a pizza place listed in Dosh and received instant credit for the order ($2.82 credit). Sadly, I'm still 0.18 short of the $15 cash out minimum.
anybody know of a good way to meet the 15$ requirement for depositing the money? im at 12$ after the bonuses and need 3 more dollars.

Good question, I'm not really sure. I guess they track the signup based on the download, but I'm not sure if that's possible.

My referral link is https://link.dosh.cash/YCLI/pv6SDWadQG. Maybe there's someplace to input that code when signing up? I simply can't remember how I did it when I signed up a while back. I'll reach out to support.
When using the link, it just redirect to https://link.dosh.cash, are you sure we can still get referral bonus with this?

I also got only $5 + $1. I sent them a help mail about it, they're mentioning it on a twitter retweet as this being good through 9/29
This is what Dosh said on twitter: "Hi, thanks for signing up! You will get the additional $5 in two business days as this is a promotional offer."

I reached out to Dosh and they said they see 69 people used my referral link (though only 4 have completed the requirements so far). I'm not sure why yours didn't track. You can send me an email (chuck@doctorofcredit.com) with your Dosh email address and I can ask them.
As you can see the screenshot in the post, I got an email that those signing up with my referral link will get $10. So it's not an issue of verifying. Issue is probably with the Dosh referral system. I've reached out to Dosh to see if I can find out more.
I only got $6 - $5 for first card you link and then another $1 for second card.

so i tried to sign up and add credit cards but it seems the ones i try to add are already linked to livingsocial and would have to be unlinked. I went to the site but for the life of me i cant find where to unlink it. Anyone know how?
I believe you have to email LS (I emailed) since the LS+ program shut down and is nowhere on the main LS website.
