Drop (card linked loyalty program) has added a 60 day wait period when redeeming points for giftcards. Drop has stated this is a temporary change while they “working on improving and expanding our gift card reward options” and “Our intention is to make this interruption as brief as possible”. Few red flags here, but hopefully they are just changing their gift card provider.

Been trying every Thursday for months and cannot get a gift card. I’m immediate, and now have over 50k pts with no way to redeem them.
Drop is clearly a scam which is a real bummer :(
most of us are in the same boat. I have been trying to redeem twice a month or so (I get busy/forget some thurs). Last time I was able to redeem a card was March 2024. Most of the time, I'm in the waiting room and don't get to the select a gift card screen.
it stinks. I try most weeks (have a recurring phone reminder) and I do always get to the select a gift card screen, but never get it "in time"
im as confident as i can be that they arent truly redeeming points. there's no chance millions of points go faster than i can click, and there is simply no way there are that many points to redeem in the system (especially since they limit to $25 worth of gcs a week)

You can't instantly redeem Drop points no matter how many points you have. Drop is now only allowing redemption once a week on Thursdays when they release limited gift cards. And the gift cards run out in less a minute. I have been trying to redeem for a $25 gift card for last 4 weeks with no luck. Another good cashback program gone down hill.

I don't waste my time even trying for the gift card on Thursday, so you have a better chance. I will wait for the inevitable "end-of life" message. I'm up to $170 in imaginary points I cannot cash out now, not counting P2's $60.
Davis said he was able to get some $5 ones before, so maybe your goals are just too high.

has anyone actually been able to get a >$5 one lately? Been logging in at 9:55am, seeing the drop then within seconds clicking a $25 uber GC but it's been sold out for the past 3 weeks now
Shoot. Back when all this gift card drops on Thursday mess started, I got $25 gc from Target in June 2023. But i had a backlog of Target gift cards in my account so i hadn’t needed to use it. Ffwd to today, I open the email from drop from 6/2023 and it says my reward expired back in January of 2024 and I can no longer redeem it.
Just emailed them to see if they’re able to do anything. I’m in CA where GCs can’t expire but not sure what they’ll say.
TLDR: redeem your drop gift cards right away!
I have been able to get $5 Amazon gift cards for quite a few weeks in a row now. Might be time to trust Drop again...

That's what I do and it usually works. It hasn't worked the past two weeks for me though. Sometimes I get denied the gift card in the app but it comes in my email.
Not really. Even if true....$5 redemptions was not what I signed up for. It would take me over 30 weeks to cash out....
I tried a few weeks ago and at 1:01 p.m. they were already sold out.
Finally was able to redeem $25 a few weeks ago. Still have $11 of points and tried to redeem this week for a $5 gc. The current “bug” is them saying I have to update to the newest app version to redeem, but I’m 100% on the newest app version.
These people are thieves in the strangest way and it’s really annoying.
Are you on the latest phone OS? I got screwed once on not being able to upgrade to the latest app by not having the latest phone OS.
I have a new phone and can't even verify my account to attempt to redeem. Their response was to uninstall and reinstall. Did that and the app is even more glitchy than it was before.
