Our Verdict
This is a big discount and it’s applicable to so many different things. Having your travel plan ideas organized in advance makes it so much easier to take advantage of deals like this. I’ll definitely be booking some cheap hotel rooms using this promotion.

Is it normal for the charge not to show up immediately when booking via Amex Travel? I received my confirmation emails Saturday night, but my card doesn't show the transactions... not even as pending.
If you had to guess, would there be any reason to assume this wouldn't be allowed for multiple one-night bookings in a row at the same property?
