  • Offer was just increased (for a limited time). The Universal Rewards Plus card ($99 annual fee) is offering a $300 statement credit after spending $1,000 in 3 months. The Universal Rewards card (no annual fee) is offering $150 statement credit after spending $1,000 in 3 months.

  • This card isn't that great, citi custom cash is better for theme park purchases, giving 5% up to $500/mo.

  • Card quietly launched. 4/2/1 rewards on the $99 Plus card which also comes with a 1 day ticket in either Orlando or Hollywood after spending $6K and renewing the card, or 2/1 on the base card. Rewards can only be redeemed onto prepaid Visa cards usable only at Universal or at hotels/airlines. What a mess

  • FNBO kind of sucks if you need to do dispute or chargeback... you need to call and write letters etc., no good for the one-click chargeback generation a.k.a. Gen Z people.

  • The Universal lounges I have been in are basically some backstage area with minimal windows, limited seating, and fantastic AC where you can buy a drink.

Not to be confused with an airport lounge where you sit and relax with gratis food, drink, phone charge, and watch planes scuttle around - which is a much better experience.

  • AMEX used to have a lounge at Universal but it closed a couple of years ago. Looks like FNBO might be taking it over.

  • Wonder if it will be useless like the Disney card, Royal Caribbean card or actually have some value.

    • We like the Chase Disney card. Have had it and used it a bunch over the years we have had it. Which might actually be almost 20 years now

      • Honestly, a Disney card that was actually able to redeem points for stays on Disney properties would attract a huge market.

        • @guest_1709579 Disney rewards you earn on their cards move to a reloadable GC that can be used at Disney properties and in the park.

          • Yeah but aren’t these just valued at 1cpp? I could just use a 2% card and use the cash back to pay cash for that same thing. My point was Disney needs to make it more worth our while. Let us earn a currency that can get higher cpp valuations when redeeming towards their resorts. Or have some sort of non-cash option at 1.25 cpp for tickets, gift cards, etc

  • Munching on popcorn in my FICO garden while watching all the normies enjoying their Harry Potter VIP lounges & eating Costco rotisserie chicken. What a time to be alive.
