Avoiding Fees

As far as I can see there are no monthly fees on the checking account and no early account termination fee according to this fee schedule.

Our Verdict

Fairly small bonus for an in branch opening that also requires a direct deposit, personally I wouldn’t bother but if you do/have in the past then please let us know if this is a soft or pull to open and if you can fund with a credit card. Don’t forget to check out the checking promos we recommend here.

Big thanks to reader, David who let us know. Please consider sharing bank bonuses with this site so we can make it even better.

  • Say Doc, was this for real? The link already gives a 401 error. Delighted that your coverage extended even unto the outermost bounds, in very rural "Forest" Virginia (population 9,000 or so, in season). Wondering why a small credit union would only give a sign up bonus at its most rural (if idyllic) location.
