Update: Please note: Space is not guaranteed, is limited to event capacity and is first-come, first served. Probably not worth it unless you’re willing to get there early.

“No Screenings At This Time”
I thought these were tickets to stare at panes of glass at first or something lol
Lol
No love for the Carolinas
I used to get those emails all the time. It is one of those first come first serve screenings. Often times it’s offered on a week night and you have to be lined there at least 30 mins or an hour ahead to get a decent seat, or any at all. The straw on the camel’s back came when one time we went to an AMC and was told there that the screening had been relocated to a Regal 3 miles away! and they didn’t even bother to email us about the last min change! Afterwards I said no to myself and unsubscribed from all of those emails.
Yes, it is possible to see a free movie, even a smaller chance to see a big name one, but only if you have a lot of time and can afford to be played every now and then
JuicyJosh Date night in DC, or Orlando? I will let you pick!
(This was a test to see if I could tag someone that had not posted on the page – it worked. I just had to find the persons guest number. At symbol guest_606949 )
Besides, Hotlanta would be our obvious choice.
Signed up. Hmmm “Please note: Space is not guaranteed, is limited to event capacity and is first-come, first served.”
Anyone have experience with screenings like this? What’s the probability of showing up and missing out?
Exactly what I was going to ask 🙂
Wow, I didn’t notice that at first, I’m reconsidering now to avoid a potential waste of time.
You got to be there at least an hour early, maybe 2 if it’s a bigger city. Otherwise you will be turned away. There will be a queue of people waiting.
Let me add this
Sadly it’s getting pretty bad reviews.
Aw man, don’t tell me that, the trailers got me excited and I’ve been really looking forward to it. (The bit at the end of Split made me like Unbreakable that much more, which I had otherwise thought was just okay.)
