Our Verdict
This promotion no longer prevents your points from expiring, so it’s probably not worth completing for most people unless your near to a redemption level. Although La Quinta offers these promotions frequently. If you do want to extend your points, I’d recommend reading this post.

I totally did this to save my expiring LQ pts ; granted, it ain't no SPG, or HYATT, but they are convenient. I also got 40K LQ pts just churning their VISA card. Next time I need to spend the night at the airport, or some emergency, there's an LQ room waiting for me.
