Our Verdict
If you are in the market for refinancing your student loans, this offer can help you consider SoFi for your business. Obviously, the main thing is the rates and terms of the loan to make sure you are getting the best deal.
Another thing to keep in mind is that you can use Gift of College cards to pay up your SoFi student loans which can help rack up credit card points at a modest fee of 1.2% if you can find a place that sells them with credit card. (Your current student loan provider probably works with Gift of College too.)
JetBlue doesn’t stop creating new, innovative partnerships, like their Amazon partnership. Kudos to them!

Chuck,
Thanks for this bit of info! Are you aware of any other partnerships that yield rewards when refi-ing a student loan? I am currently looking to do just that and want to make sure I compare as many good options available as possible. To be clear, I know how to compare interest rates and stuff. I am just not as aware of other bonus offers when it comes to this kind of stuff. Thanks!
I received an email from Southwest this morning for the same promotion but SW miles instead of JetBlue. EDIT - looks like DoC already has another post on this.
I don't know of any, but if you find some let us know.
There are cash referral bonuses out there, I've done a couple the last couple months for $500 on average for refinancing 20-40k
Data point - looked like a soft pull to check your rate, so I gave it a shot. I have an 850 FICO and am under 5/24 (i.e., not a lot of hard pulls), and they offered 7.00%. My two existing loans are at 3.50% and 2.875%. Maybe if you have loans at a high rate this could work, but it's pretty clear to me how they can afford to give mileage bonuses for consolidating with them. Not a good deal.
