Get A Free Jet.com Six Month Membership

Jet.com is a new ecommerce website that will be launching soon, it’s a mixture of Costco & Amazon.com. The idea is that you pay a membership fee and then Jet.com is able to offer lower than normal prices on products because of this (e.g Costco) and are also able to provide lower than normal prices because they are an online platform (e.g Amazon.com).

It’s the “brain child” of Marc Lore of Diapers.com fame. They are running a pretty good marketing promotion at the moment (at least it’s a good marketing promotion from their perspective) where if you join the site (basically just giving them your e-mail address) they will give you a free six month membership. To make it more viral, they are also allowing you to refer friends. The more people you refer, the higher your ranking, the higher your ranking the more freebies you get. Here is the breakdown:

  • Sign up for Jet Insider: Free six month membership
  • Be in their top 100,000: Gain early access to the site
  • Be in their top 10,000: Receive a free one year membership
  • Be in their top 1,000: Receive a free five year membership
  • Be in their top 100: Receive a free lifetime membership
  • Be in their top 10: Receive 10,000 shares of Jet stock
  • Be their top 1: Receive 100,000 shares of Jet stock

I’m just happy with my free six month membership, but Big Habitat (great blog on reselling) is currently ranked in the top 100. I’d recommend using his referral link and hopefully we can get him in the top 10. I imagine that Jet.com is going to have a lot of growing pains when they first launch, so I am not sure how useful this 6 month membership will be, but I love me some free stuff so I signed up anyway.

Note: This post contains referral links to Jet.com, these are not my referral links but Big Habitat’s. I do not have any financial relationship with his blog and I did not receive any compensation for adding his links. I like to support other bloggers that provide interesting and unique content and so should you. Please consider using his links.

Hat tip to PFdigest (his post also contains referral links to Jet.com but they are not his own, visit his site anyway)
