Our Verdict

Make sure to use a card that earns at a high rate on grocery stores. There is a $6.95 activation fee, but easily offset by the instant discount.

If you don’t have a cc that earns a high rate at a grocery store, purchase it at a GetGo with a cc with a high rate at gas stations.

Missing that one time they allowed VGC to be bought online with discount and no limit. It beat GCM, Simon, Staples, and the most recent OD/OM.

Yup, that one was nuts, hit it hard. And you got the best deal on that one with the lowest denomination, which is unique and memorable. Still haven’t finished unloading all those $50 VGC.

Guarantee they won’t make that mistake again. Took me 6 months to liquidate. I tried to get rid of them as fast as possible since I was afraid of clawback (not sure if it’s possible with VGC). Surprised it lasted 4-5(?) days given that it was manually processed and mailed out. It was my first real haul and exposure to MS, and I got hooked.
