- Giant/Stopandshop/Martin’s has an offer for April 9 – April 15: Get 3x fuel points on the purchase Mastercard gift cards.
Gift cards generally don’t earn fuel points at all at Giant/S&S/Martin’s, but occasionally they release offers like this to get points on gift card purchases.
Gas Points Details
Every 100 points gets you 10¢ off per gallon at Shell, up to 20 gallons. If you have 1000 points, you’ll get $1 off. If you have 1500 points, you’ll get $1.50 off per gallon (max $1.50 discount in most). Points can be used at partner Shell locations.
Points are now usable on groceries as well, with a value of 100 points equaling a $1 discount.
- You have 30 days to select whether you want to use the points on gas or groceries, then 30 days to actually use them.

- Points usually are available immediately, but I’ve had on occasion where it took a day until they showed up and were usable.
Our Verdict
Many SS/Giant stores have implemented a $2,000 limit in gift card purchases each day (previously the limit was $5,000). They also require putting it all on a single card. Use a card that earns a bonus at the grocery.

Posting an update. No Points did not come after hour nor the next day and today is last day of promotion and they did not come either. Also below is the More details on How purchases were done

I went back for a second card today and got credited again. Once again not posted immediately but were there an hour later. This is at S&S in New York
I think some patience is needed. Not always points post immediately though sometimes they do post immediately. I am in central NJ too and for me two separate transactions on the same card on two different days did result in points posting without need to contact anyone. It did take a few hours to post though.
Same here. The first day I purchased them, the points posted (4,500 for 3 $500 cards). All other days, the points did not post. Is this a limit of once per household?
Did they ever post? I bought two cards tonight. After seeing the 1x wording I decided to use two different S&S cards in case I had to contact CS to get the points. Points did not post immediately, but when I checked an hour later, and they were there.
I bought two yesterday and points for both posted.
No issues getting points multiple times. Already over $10k spend and each time 3x points posted.

Thank you. I normally only buy VISA gift cards (conditioned from the difficulty draining them at Walmart which no longer matters) so I wasn't sure.
Just to doublecheck any recent dps if BC Preferred would award points if I were to buy 2k? I just want to make sure before i pull the trigger

Dp’s and marketing wording suggest we’ll get bonus only once per promotion?
DPs suggest otherwise. I am a DP from the VISA deal 2 weeks back. Did twice as well as multiple per order and both times got the points. Now this is a new offer and a new day. So we have to wait for new DPs to be really sure.
Didn't have issues with Visa cards, but did see DPs that people had issues with deals that started the following week. Will have to start slow and see if there're any limits in place.
Where did you see those other DPs? Another message board? What are they saying now....any update?
