Our Verdict
Aside from the discount you’ll get currently under these offers, you can stack the deal as well:
- Get 5% back from the Inbox Dollars shopping portal or go through Topcashback and get the 5% rate matched. Or you can get 3 Southwest miles or 4 United miles per dollar instead.
- Get 2% back in eBay Bucks.
- Get at least 2% back from your credit card. For the Kmart gift card deal, use your INK card from Chase and you should get 5x rewards.
According to our bonus Bucks schedule, we should hopefully get a bonus bucks offer sometime between the 23rd and 26th or September. I would not recommend waiting on the Target gift card deal since that one only has around 2700 remaining (with around 2300 sold in just a couple of hours). The Kmart deal may be worth waiting out and hoping it lasts until then, but there is, of course, a risk in doing so.
Reselling
Target gift cards can be resold for 86% of their value and this deal here won’t really be worthwhile for reselling purposes. Of course, many of us will have no problem shopping at Target and using up the gift cards ourselves, netting the discount from the offer.
The Kmart cards can be resold electronically for 84% of its value to Saveya which means that you’ll lose 1% on the sale, but you’ll gain from the portal, Bucks, and credit card points.
- Pay $127.50 for the $150 in gift cards (-$127.50)
- Sell for $126 (+126)
- Get 5% from the portal (+6.38)
- Get 2% back in eBay Bucks (+$2.55)
- Get 5% back from INK (+6.38)
- Net profit: $13.81
Not a huge moneymaker, but if you’re comfortable with Saveya it’s really an easy offer since it’s all electronic and will just take a few minutes.
Bear in mind that Paypal Digital Gifts has a limit (for many) of $1,000 in e-gift cards which can be purchased per rolling 30-days.
