Google Pay: $10 Back On $25+ Walgreens

The Offer

  • Google Pay is offering $10 back when you spend $25+ at Walgreens

Our Verdict

Walgreens sells gift cards and this offer should be triggered by those purchases. There has been a similar offer for 20% back in the past.

  • Some accounts did not list the offer. Lists as one offer found for Walgreens when searching but it does not show up.

  • DP - works on citi double cash mastercard, just register the card a day before you plan to use the offer. I used the card directly (chip/pin dip) and not via the gpay digital wallet.

  • Bought two Target gift cards today in one transaction, one for $10 and one for $15. $10 reward appeared as pending minutes later.

  • Must have gone to a strict Walgreens. $25 Amazon gift card did not trigger Google Pay, I looked at the terms and it forbids gift cards, ticket to Google didn't work as I had to submit the receipt that showed a gift card purchase. Will try to return or otherwise gift it to someone.

    • Went to a different Walgreens and bought stamps and envelopes but Google is refusing to pay out the $10 because I already tried to do the deal despite it never working so it's off to CFPB to help. Otherwise I'll return the products.
