I saw $24 cashback for HBO Max ($9.99/month) in the Capital One Shopping app (YMMV), about $14 MM. @will
Posted thanks
Anyone cancelled the subscription already after getting the CB?
Subscribed on 11/23, $12.60 is payable now.
Does that mean we can cancel the subscription now? Is so, how to cancel it?
Anyone signed up through Topcashback and got tracked? If so, how long did it take? Thanks.
I did as a new customer and got tracked by TCB within a few hours.
I checked Cash Back Monitor and they said Hoopla Doopla had the highest cash back. https://hoopladoopla.com?ref=e2l4Kza1xmMgp8qwbOD7rP6yRG7n3VLvoQD0NWdE
@guest_1493818 , did your transaction get tracked? I never used hoopladoopla, and just want to have an idea how soon the transaction is posted.
No. Initially appeared under Earnings that I had earned $20 but then it was for referrals. I checked under Payments and it said no payments owed. Appears to be a dud. I suggest trying another service or portal.
@guest_1493818 , Bummer! Do you mean you referred someone else and got the $20 referral bonus, but you didn't get the cash back for this HBO purchase, right? Or do you mean the $20 was initially listed as HBO purchase, and then it was switched to the referral bonus? I am a little confused here.
Decided to go through AA and earn 600 loyalty points
That's why there are tiers for price discrimination for those who are ad tolerant vs not.
Topcashback says new customer only? Does that mean returning customer do not qualify?
It could mean new customer to HBO Max, or it might just mean TCB only lets you get the offer once.
Correct, not sure if enforced
Ughh can’t justify paying for a streaming service and still have ads..
Nothing that a little Adblocker can't fix.
does Adblocker work on Amazon fire stick or for tv-streaming (e.g., LG) versus a standard internet browser?
That's where Pi-Hole comes in.
Wait, so a paid subscription still comes with ads?
At $2, you could add quotation marks to the word ‘paid’. Almost feels like they’re reverse psyching us into watching ads.
Going to be like cable, which started with paid per month and no or few ads, now it's pay through the nose for bombardment with ads.
Hulu has been like that for years
Hulu was born like that.
Ad plan used to be free.
Netflix has ads too now
