Misc

The majority of the new deals and information we post on this site comes directly from our readers. In fact, the majority comes from a small subset of readers that send in information and deals on a regular basis. The more people that do this, the better the site will be. So if you see a deal/piece of news that we haven’t covered yet that you think we’d find useful/interesting then please let us know. You can let us know by doing any of the following:
- E-mailing myself directly (will@doctorofcredit.com)
- E-mailing chuck directly (chuck@doctorofcredit.com)
- Using the contact form
I promise we don’t bite. Everybody benefits when information is shared, so I really encourage you to share deals and details with us whenever you come across something interesting.
The other thing you can do is share the site, you can do that on social media (e.g Twitter or Facebook), or on forums/other sites (when relevant and useful) or just by telling people in person.
Thank You
A big thank you to all the readers on this site who contribute useful comments and content, without you this site wouldn’t exist. Keep helping each other in the comments and sharing information and deals! Also a big thanks if you took the time to read this post (even if you didn’t sign up for anything).

Been following your articles for almost 9 years now. Thanks to your articles, we got out of debt and have even made money from the same banks that ruined us in 08. The least I can do is let your ads run or use your referral links. However, I know for a lot of us that is not enough. Please let us know if there's anything we can help do to support!
That's plenty, appreciate the support!
US Bank is offering a regional bonus of $300 until the end of next month. Looks pretty good.

@will I signed up thru you guys on swagbucks a long time ago. I dont use it for shopping portals at all (because it doesnt track), but I do use swagbucks local stacked with rewards network. Do you know if you also get a % of that?
I have made $1000s of dollars off of the information on this site coupled with my own knowledge and plans. I wish you guys had a more direct donation method.
I'll be signing up for amazon student when my current membership expires through your link.
Thank you.
Not too sure unfortunately
Not too sure actually.
doc. how come you dont talk about the ads on this site? do they even help? i try to let them run on my browser as much as I can stand, but many ads are constantly in loop talking about stupid BS and I mute it but it slows down the browser a lot. not sure if you know what kind of ads run but they are not typical banner ads. they are actual videos in a loop. do you even get any money from that? if not then i will just ad block. let us know.
Hi Ninja,
Ads are our primary source of income. We run everything through google adsense and they are supposed to serve ads that are less obtrusive than other ad networks. That works the majority of time but they seem to be allowing more of these self playing video ads that are super annoying. I always say I'd rather have a reader using adblock than no reader at all. If you really find the ads annoying, feel free to use adblock. I just ask you spread the site a little bit extra to make up for it ;)
Love this site. Thanks for all of your hard work. Is there a way for you to post the credit card links on the side, without making it the main focus? I just hate using the links from some of the other blogs.. I don't want to see you guys endlessly promoting. Chase products, but it would be nice to see you make money, and to feel like we've contributed in that way for all of your hard work. I guess my idea comes down to just doing what you are doing, but also have a small outlet with some links that you may or not make money off of, it won't cloud your judgment. Will the credit card companies go along with that? Again, thank you for all you do!!
It's possible but there are issues with it: https://www.doctorofcredit.com/were-removing-all-credit-card-affiliate-links-heres-why/. Because of that it's not something we will consider.
Thanks for posting the ways we can give back to this site. Doc of Credit is like my bible!
You guys are amazing and this site as well. I will always use the links that you provide to benefit both of us.
Thanks for all you do!!
thanks Will and Chuck! coz of you guys i finally got into bank bonuses. im currently anticipating at least 2k total bonus this yr that i'll probably use next yr for a trip. :D i love the CC reviews and things to know about each issuer. i'm able to plan out apps with less chance of getting rejected. was also able to hit 850 fico just being here and absorbing all the credit knowledge. 2 yrs ago i didn't even pay attention what and how my credit was. i'm still newb and looking into getting into ms but i have a lot to learn (read!). hugh thanks to you guys and to all that contribute to the site. DPs are your friend! :D
I'd rather just give you guys straight up cash money :D Is there a method you accept for that? Have you considered Patreon or other crowdfunding sites?
Nah we don't accept straight donations, a lot of people have asked about Patreon but I'd rather readers keep that money for themselves
I never use shopping portals.
Am i missing out?
Definitely worth doing, how good it is really depends on how much you shop online like Chuck pointed out.
It really depends how much you shop online.
