HSBC has made three changes to its airline transfers. They have added both Jet Airways & AeroMexico, but they have removed Cathay Pacific as an option. They now offer the following airline partners:
HSBC transfer at a rate of 1:1, although they sometimes offer transfer bonuses. I believe they have only ever offered transfer bonuses from British Airways, the last bonus was for 35%. Our HSBC card reviews are as follows:

I feel that this needs an update: the Premier status doesn't require $100k in balance with them anymore (?) I just signed up for the account and stumbled upon this post when searching what the value of their points are. The premier just requires $5k direct deposit per month to maintain to get the fee waived. Very do-able and probably the easiest route now.
Yeah this post is a year old, it's a new items so we generally don't update those.
@will Emirates added as a new partner.
Now includes: Emirates, Iberia, Aer Lingus, BA, Aeromexico, Jet Airways, and Singapore
The 35% transfer bonus currently taking place is inclusive of Aer Lingus and Iberia (which makes sense), not just BA

Seems like the transfers and good bonuses require the HSBC Premier relationship ($100k in deposits). I appreciate this type of information anyways. Always good to know what else is out there.
HSBC has transfer partners? did not know this...have i been missing out on good sign up bonuses?
Yeah they do, but the more interesting cards require a relationship so not worth considering for most people.
It makes more sense to use the points for travel credits honestly. You can use them for 1.6 cents each.
On the bright side you aren't that person who finally piled up enough points to send to Cathay Pacific today. Idk if they even exist but that would absolutely suck!
