Our Verdict
Requirements are exactly the same as the previous $450 bonus, but this is $150 less. I’d recommend waiting for the bigger offer to return as this is a significant difference. We won’t be adding this to our list of the best bank account bonuses.

There’s a 600$ too is this one better?
Was approved for an account at 4/12 (4/6). Live blocks away from a branch. There were additional fields to fill for government employees so that may have helped.
Debit transactions like doing Amazon reloads the best way?
Yes Amazon reload will do. And, I’m thinking ach debit transactions should also means ach transfer out to external bank counts too.
Schwab Brokerage did NOT work last time, P2 with real DD was fine. Any other DPs welcome please.
No instant approval. Got a message after finishing the application, that someone will give me a call within two days. During the application, it let me put in my info for an opening deposit though. Happen to anyone else?
Did they call? And you got approved? TIA
No call, denied me a couple days later.
Application declined with a general notice: We regret that we are unable to open an account for you at this time thru our online account system. This decision was based on our Identity Verification and/or Compliance List screening policy. Any ideas why? Have not opened any bank account for a year or two.
don't get the "our verdict" summary, this is still $450 yea? online?
Check the dates on the comments below. It's an ongoing post they keep updating every time the deal expires or comes back. Sounds like they overlooked that section, it probably dropped to $300 at one point.
Why are they called Marine Bank? Are they military friendly?
Let me google that for you :)
"Prior to 2019, we utilized different brand names across our markets: Central Illinois Bank (Central Illinois); Marine Bank (Milwaukee and Indianapolis); Avenue Bank (Wheaton, Illinois); and Avenue Mortgage (at all mortgage offices). In 2019, we unified our brands under our legal name of CIBM Bank with the new logo and icon you see today."
Thanks, Fred.
