[Expired] Increased Signup Bonuses on American Express Hilton Cards of up to 200,000 Points (Referrals Available)

The Offer

Consumer Cards | Business version

There are now increased signup bonus offers showing on American Express Hilton cards. Offers on the personal Surpass and personal no-fee cards are better when not using a referral (though the value of the referrer bonus may outweigh that); on the business version the referral offer is better.

  • Hilton Honors no fee card: Get 100,000 Hilton Honors points after $1,000 spend in 3 months. Get an additional 50,000 points after spending a total of $5,000 within the first 6 months. (Note, try going incognito or using a VPN to find this offer, it doesn’t always show. YMMV.)
    • Referral offer version: Get 80,000 Hilton Honors points after $1,000 spend in 3 months. Get an additional 50,000 points after spending a total of $5,000 within the first 6 months.
  • Hilton Honors Surpass with $95 annual fee: Get 150,000 Hilton Honors points after $2,000 spend in 3 months. Get an additional 50,000 points after spending a total of $10,000 within the first 6 months. (Note, try going incognito or using a VPN to find this offer, it doesn’t always show. YMMV.)
    • Referral offer version: Get 130,000 Hilton Honors points after $2,000 spend in 3 months. Get an additional 50,000 points after spending a total of $10,000 within the first 6 months.
  • Hilton Honors Business with $95 annual fee: Get 130,000 Hilton Honors points after $3,000 spend in 3 months.

Our Verdict

These are all some nice offers, coupled with the fact that the referrer also can get a nice bonus if you go that route. These offers are somewhat comparable (a bit better or a bit worse) from the recently expired deal which gave a lower amount of points but with a cash bonus component.

Both the current version and the recently expired are much better than offers we’ve generally seen in the past. We’ll add this to our list of Best Current Credit Card Signup Bonuses.
