This is a little bit later than usual, as some of you may remember I cannot post as much as I’d like to at the moment due to work commitments. I’m currently travelling A LOT for work and internet can be slow at times, this post is reaching you from Indonesia. I’ve also been spending a little bit of time in Singapore as well (which is a place I love, I could eat chilli crab all day everyday).

Blog Stats
This month the blog continued to grow, although it was at a much slower speed than previous months. This is most likely due to less posts being created and the fact we haven’t been doing our weekly e-mail blasts either (these will start up again next Monday). Here are the stats for this month:
- We had 837 subscribers at the start of the month and 1024 by the end
- Blog traffic increased by 6.69%
- Revenue dipped for the first time, but only slightly
Charity Contribution
Even though we had less revenue this month than last, I decided to match last months charity contribution and give another $325 away. I requested suggestions on the blog and twitter, but didn’t receive a lot of responses. Those I did receive were a little bit too local in nature for my own tastes.
Instead I decided to give to Oxfam instead, they actually have higher admin and fundraising expenses than I usually like to see but I’ve also personally seen the difference their programs have made which helps in allaying those fears. $325 ended up being a tribe of goats and a pig.
As always, if you have a charity suggestion please share it with me. I’d love to actually use a readers suggestion rather than relying on my own!
$25 Newsletter Give Away
Last months winner never claimed their $25 prize, so this means we actually have two prizes of $25 to give away this month. As usual, we use random.org to pick a number between 1 and the amount of newsletter subscribers (1024 in this case) and then the person who signed up in that position is the winner. This months winners are:
- 676
- 917
We’ve contacted the winners directly. If they don’t reply to our e-mails by the end of the month, the bonus will be given out next month instead.
