Our Verdict
Use a credit card which earns a bonus at grocery stores or use Chase Freedom this quarter for 5%. Some people have to go out grocery shopping, and some people are still driving and can make use of the fuel points. Online purchases might be an option as well. Same deal is often available at Harris Teeter as well.

anyone knows when the next 4* deal will be?
So newer to this. I have a CSR and an AMEX Gold. Will use the CSR for the current 5x but do I buy a Visa GC, a Kroger GC, or a gas station GC?? I assume a VISA GC as I would want to eventually buy the future gas at Kroger.
Only buy a gift card you can make use of. Save the coupon for Visa gift card if you want to buy that card; save the coupon for third party gift cards if you want to buy a different gift card, such as a gas gift card. There is no coupon for buying Kroger gift cards.
$3.00 off that was on line only now applies in store.
Cash app has featured a weekly "10% off one grocery store purchase" Boost as of late as well. Max discount of $7.50, so you could get a $100 Visa/MC gift card for $98.45, plus the 4x Fuel Points.

@guest_982421 not quite familiar with cash boost... so i need to have a physical cash card then load sufficient $ onto it & pay with the cash card for the cb, correct? also, after using the offer, how soon could we reuse the same offer? thx
@guest_982737 You do need to have the Cash card in order to use the Boosts, yes. The grocery one that they've been offering recently is on one transaction only, and it usually reappears when the Boosts reset on Friday mornings. So you could use it on Thursday and then again on Friday when it reappears, for instance, but generally speaking, it's "once per week."
On the Kroger side, it appears that this particular coupon can only be used once per Fuel Points account. ("Limit one per customer")
Also seeing a coupon for $3.95 off a $50 MC or Visa gift card, expires 5/19.

Only those dates. This is a headsup post.
Third party gift cards do not have a set date. It works on days from Friday to Monday. It only gave me 2x points for AGC I bought today. I called customer service and she added 3x more points. I am not going to complain, but I will not try that again as well.
