Check your Kroger stores coupons for the following offers:
- Save a digital coupon to get 4x fuel points on Visa and Mastercard $100, $50, or $25 fixed-value gift cards. (Does not work on variable-load Visa/MC gift cards.)
- Save a digital coupon to get 4x fuel points on participating third party gift cards.
Typically, gift cards earn 2x, and occasionally they’ll put out offers like these to bump it up to 4x. You should see these coupons for all Kroger-family brands. Deal usually becomes available at Harris Teeter as well in roughly the same time period.
Our Verdict
The third party gift card deal should work for mostly all third party gift card brands. Remember to use a card that earns at a high rate on grocery store purchases.

I bought some third party gift cards along with a basket full of groceries this past weekend at Kroger in Eastern Arkansas, and I did not realize it until I was home that I was charged sales tax on every gift card that I purchased. I spoke with the store manager yesterday who said I was not the first person to call in about this issue. He asked for my receipt, and he called his corporate office. I received a reply call today that they were still looking into the issue and that I should receive a call back in the next day or two. Others that bought gift cards this past weekend may want to review their receipts as well.
Giant eagle also $10 off $200 cards, coincidentally after they stopped accepting debit including those for money order, go figure.
Nice deal, I can max out my DiscoverIT category bonus now. I've never bought GCs from them, what card do you folks usually get?

Once again, not at Harris Teeter. You should change your wording from "usually" to "occasionally" as most times they don't sync.
My understanding is that it typically shows up a day or two after Kroger, if not the same time.
