The SimplyCash business card from Amex doesn’t typically have a signup bonus at all, but for the past few months there’s been a $500 bonus offer available through affiliate channels.
The bonus is broken down as $250 with $5k spend within six months, and another $250 with an additional $10k spend in the first year. Pretty easy to meet the spend since they give lots of time.
The offer is slated to end today (Wednesday, 1/25). A Google search of mine turned up an ad which indicated that it ends in 23 hours – around 11:59 pm ET on 1/25.
If you’re on the fence for this card, now is a good time. The $500 offer has been around before, but I think they way they structured this one makes it the easiest to hit the spend threshold on office supply purchases over the course of the year. And the card is also good – this is the new, enhance version of SimplyCash which allows up to $50k in 5% spend per year. So if you’re running into INK bottlenecks, this can help.
Just keep in mind this is a credit card so it counts toward your 4 or 5 Amex card limit.
Personally, I hope to add this card to my collection some day, but I am at 4 Amex cards so I don’t know if they’ll approve me for a fifth. I should maybe cancel one of my cards. Decisions, decisions.

This offer was taken off well before deadline. I tried to apply around 10:30pm EST and the offer was no longer showing up, Can we call amex to get a match based on this ?
Doubt it
Is it dead? I can't find any working links for this offer. I google the same keywords in the article, and can't get the offer to show up. Any suggestions?
Worked for me earlier today (and approved with $15k CL). I don't know what time zone is used for these comments, but you might have missed the 11:59 pm ET deadline that DoC mentioned in the post.
Couldn't find it either but did see $250 back after $5000 spend over six months.
Also see $500 after 25k spending lol
I'm under 5/24, any risk getting this prior to completing the Chase-a-rama?
No risk as far as new accounts go. If your Chasearama is soon, it might be smart to keep your inquires cleaner.
It does not count under Chase 5/24, since it is a business card.
WIll Staples VGC purchased online get the 5% cashback?
It should
It appears that VGC purchases on Staples.com only receive 1% cashback... they are showing up in my SimplyCash account as: Category: Merchandise & Supplies - Internet Purchase
Any other data points out there?
Hrm that's odd.
My brother got a $1000 for spending $10k offer last year, so I guess it couldn't hurt to call Amex and see if they'll match it.
Amex are usually fairly strict about matching targeted offers
This is a decent deal, but I got an email invite for $300 after $3k spend, which will work out much better for my situation as it will not interfere with other credit card spending requirements.
I just got this with no sign up bonus! :(

Maybe dumb question - isnt man spending on amex cards a bad idea? Why is 5% so imp then?
Why would Amex be opposed to man spending? Is it because they have Tina Fey in their ads that makes you think they only want women spending?
/s
Lol, a really good laugh!! :)
Whats the best targetted offer for this card ? i heard it is 1000 for only 5k spend
anyway to entice amex to send targetted offer ?
1k is best offer, no idea on what they use to target people.
I have both SPG Personal & Biz, Delta Biz and BCP which equates to 4 cards. Also just got the Delta Biz like a week ago. I'm probably ineligible so not work the risk of a HP :(
Amex won't give you a hard pull if they deny you.
