Chase United Business Refresh
Chase is refreshing the United business card. I saw this briefly earlier, but at the time of this writing (11:05am ET 3/18/25) it’s showing the old details again. Presumably it went live early and will come back soon.
- Annual fee increase from $99 to $150.
- $125 united flight credit after 5 flights (instead of $100 credit after 7 flights under the old card)
- The new signup bonus is 125,000 points (instead of the prior offer for 100,000).
- New credits:
- $25 farelock credits
- $100 hotel credit
- $100 rideshare credit
- $50 car rental credit
- $100 JSX credit
- $120 instacart credit
Our Verdict
We don’t have all the details yet, we’ll create a new post with all the details when they come out. Obviously the extra $51 on the annual fee is a bummer, yet overall it might be a net positive if the Instacart credit, rideshare credit, and hotel and car rental credit turn out to be useful. The signup bonus increase from 100k to 125k is a nice bump as well.

Applied this card more than 30 days ago, was declined due to too many opened accounts, I am thinking about calling for a reconsideration. Just wondering if I must ask reconsideration within 30 days to be reconsidered, or it doesn't matter? Also I applied under the old SUB, so if they approve me, am I under the old SUB or the new SUB? Thanks for the education.
Any recent datapoint on whether Chase queries for personal and business merge into one hard pull?
My sock drawered United Biz card has disappeared from my account. I have the plastic but Chase couldn't find it anywhere in their system, probably because I've noticed about it more than a year after. Is that usual for Chase Business cards?
Do we know if this will still include the 2 club passes?
I don't see any requirements on the signup page about time since last earning the bonus. It's been a little under 2 years since I got it - any issues I'd run into?
When click on the link I only see the earn 100,000 bonus miles after spending $5,000 with a $99 annual fee.
same
Was approved last night (3/17). I wonder if I will be grandfathered by a day or it'll be the new promo.
$51 for so many credits seem to be good, but it is very likely that those credits are monthly or quarterly.
don't tell me instacart is daily credits like amex
What instacart ceedit?

Too bad Chase has tightened up their approvals for business cards. Many people are denied once they have 3 biz cards. This is like dangling a carrot…. We have all these great cards to offer but you might have to be selective with what you really want. It’s annoying.
Have the Ink Trifecta (CIP 9.2024, CIC, CIU) and applied for UA Biz 2.27.2025 Instant approval (reduced CIU/CIC to $5K - CIP is at $25K and UA Biz is $5K).
But I have been putting spend on CIP/CIC - typically T-mo for 5X, but this month used CIP because wife is traveling solo in Asia).
But I will place so spend on them when I'm between SUBs.
Already looking for P2s next card shes at 2/24 and we will both be at 0/24 or 1/24 this November.
I have 8 business cards and just got this one. Will send a SM to match later.
I wonder if they're more flexible with cobranded cards. I had 4 inks, got denied for one, waited a few months and then got the personal Hyatt and biz Hyatt opened within 2 months of another.
Just got denied for this card, did have a total of 6 biz cards spread across Sole Prop and LLC (4 under Sole Prop were 2 Unlimited, 1 Ink and 1 IHG while 2 under LLC were INK and Ink Preferred) Also have 3 personal chase cards.
The specific reason for denial was because of too many accounts. tried calling reconsideration twice, with no luck. But maybe that is a blessing in disguise because I would prefer this 125k offer over the existing.
