Update 4/17/23: Looks like they’re automatically signing everyone up for a “free trial” of their pro account for $9/month. The caveat being, you’ll automatically be billed $9/month after the 2 month trial unless you explicitly cancel. (ht bankbonus)
Update 1/20/22: Referral program will end on 2/20/2022.
Update 12/16/21: Referral now requires a direct deposit of $250+
Update 10/3/21: Swagbucks/MP now offers 5,000SB ($50) when opening Lili Pro with $25 + get $50 when spending $1,000 on the debit card. We’ve reported that the referral offer stacks with the Swagbucks, so it would seem you can get $200 in bonuses here with $50 + $50 from Swagbucks and an additional $100 from the referral. I assume the Drop won’t stack (either do Swagbucks or Drop). Lili Pro costs $4.99/month after the first month, so you might end up getting hit with one $4.99 fee.
Update 9/22/21: Referral bonus has been increased to $100.
Update 9/12/21: Now 90,000 on Drop ($90). Back to $70
Update 9/2/21: Lili is now on Drop for 70,000 points ($70). Requires funding the account with $200+ in 45 days.
Update 7/18/21: Swagbucks offer no longer requires direct deposit.

- All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them
Avoiding Fees
Monthly Fees
This account has no monthly fees
Early Account Termination Fee
Wasn’t able to find a fee schedule so unsure if there is an early account termination fee or not.
$50 Referral Bonus
You can get a $50 referral bonus, requirements are listed above. You can earn a maximum of $500 in referral bonuses. Please do not share your Lili referrals in this post. Instead share them in this linked posted.
Our Verdict
Assuming that both bonuses post then this seems like an easy bonus to meet the requirements for, even better if you can refer a few people as well. The risk is that the bonuses don’t stack properly (they have up until now), that would only be $50. We will add this to our list of the best bank account bonuses.

Sounds like this should be removed from the best bank offers page of they've totally nerfed it with fees.
Previously got a SB bonus with lili. Anyone able to churn Lili? Offer isnt visible on SB anymore anyways.
Still seems to be available. 8K on MyPoints. Seems worth it if synthetic DD doable. Sparse DPs
The 5000sb shows up on the Swagbucks site, but when you click through, it goes directly to the bank's site. As far as I see there is no place on the Swagbucks site to see the current requirements for the offer.
Heads up, looks like they're automatically signing everyone up for a "free trial" of their pro account for $9/month. The caveat being, you'll automatically be billed $9/month after the 2 month trial unless you explicitly cancel. Pretty scummy. Probably worth bumping the post @chucksithe @will
As a part of your Lili Pro trial, you’ll see a $9 monthly charge for the next 2 months–but don’t worry: you’ll automatically be reimbursed $9 for each month of the trial period. After the 2 month trial period, your Lili Pro plan will convert to a $9 monthly fee, but you can easily revert to a Lili Basic plan (with no monthly fee) by replying to this email directly or by contacting our support team and letting us know. In the event that you do not log in to your Lili account during the 2 month trial period, your plan will automatically revert to Lili Basic with no monthly fee.
This was a bit of a pain to close over the phone. It might be worth emailing them, even though they say to call to close. Took about 15 minutes even though I started off being in a queue with a 4 minute expected wait and 5 people in front of me. Even with nobody ahead of me, I waited a few more minutes.
Polite enough, but they wanted just about all of my personal info to verify/close the account.
I might even suggest snail mail first to see if that works. By the end of my, I had received an email confirming closure.
When I closed my account a few months ago, I sent a message through the app (help page chat icon had a form to fill out). The next day they asked why I was closing it; I replied, and 6 days later got an email that the account was closed.
Pretty sure this is illegal
Was this an email? @guest_1599648
Yeah, came today. Subject "Congratulations [name], you’ve been upgraded to Lili Pro!". Hadn't logged into my account in a few months
I see, thanks. Just tried to log in and both of our accounts are under review. This is after we finally transferred a $1 in when they warned us about inactivity and having a $0 balance. Sigh
Lili recently added back the ability to send funds to another bank account using the routing and account numbers only, and account owner name is specified by it can be yourself of some body else. No use of Plaid or trial deposits. This might have some potential uses. I was able to trigger the now defunct Figure DD bonus with this as an experiment, but it has not worked with Chase. The SEC code is CCD (Corporate Credit or Debit Entry). I am no expert, but payroll seems to be PPD and even that code alone isn't always sufficient.
I tried both the fast (for a fee) and normal transfer option for a small amount, and both posted on the same day, certainly not next day as advertised. They have also bumped up the interest rate to 2% FWIW.
I do not see this on Swagbucks anymore, but it is on InboxDollars for $40 and MyPoints for 8,000 points (~$50) with different wording. Pro account has a $9/month fee, after 30 day free trial. The terms mention "qualifying transactions", but the only thing mentioned is a $25 deposit.
*Terms & Conditions Apply.Transfers to Paypal, Zelle, Venmo, Square, and ATM withdrawals do not qualify as spend. The reward is paid to your Lili Account within ten (10) business days after qualifying transactions are posted. To receive this bonus, the account must be active and in good standing. Existing Lili customers do not qualify for the offer. You must be new, first-time account holders who signed up through the campaign link. *Points is distributed by MyPoints not by Lili Financial. Points will appear as Pending for 32 days after your first time deposit of $25 or more. This offer is only available to new Lili Financial users. Must create a Lili Pro account through the MyPoints affiliate link. First time deposit must be made within 32 days of opening your Lili Pro Account. Must enter valid sign-up information, including social security number to earn Points. Offer may only be completed once (1) per user.
does lili issue a 1099 tax form? anyone get one for 2022 yet
Wondering the same.
I wonder whether we know if Lili Bank can be churned? If we got a bonus in the past?
Denied/Sensitive
I don't know what they would be sensitive of... They don't pull Chex or EWS. I don't recall seeing them on LexisNexis.
Hello @guest_1229870 referral dead right. So basically only 50 dollars total? I checked your gadget page. Confused.
Yeah, the referral program has been dead for a long time. I found in my comments below it ended last year on 2/20/2022. Yes, SB is at $50, but I have no clue if it will track and what the requirements are for the SB deal.
@will Title should be reworked.
Maybe "Fees coming soon" to yet another fintech trying to balance the books...
