Avoiding Fees
Monthly Fees
This account has no monthly fees to worry about
Early Account Termination Fee
I wasn’t able to find a fee schedule so unsure if there is an EATF.
Our Verdict
Better than the previous $150 checking bonus we’ve seen. We need to know if it’s a hard or soft pull.

Expired? Link is 404 even though it shows up in Google results
Appears so. Darn. In this case, 404 is not as good as 400 lol
Monthly qualification cycle PDF works now. For this month(Oct), the last day is 10/30. and 10/31 is the start of the Nov cycle. https://www.countrybank.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Kasasa-Cash-and-Cash-Back-Qualification-Cycle.pdf
i was denied after verification. Closest branch is about an hour away.
P1: Applied, Got as far as email verification and then got declined before even getting through the rest of the app. Chex LOL/24 but I got no Chex notification so it seem it declined me before that point.
P2: Got through the email and license / face verification and then went pending after submitting. OnAlert sent notification of Chex hit. P2 has less Chex hits but still probably 8 or 10 this year.
I get to a document requested message. When I click on the link, it just sends me to a page that says submitting application and nothing happens. This happen to anyone else?
Applied yesterday with 2k funding, denied today (funding not charged)
Chex: 2/1, 3/2, 4/3, 10/6, 15/12, 39/24
Around 45mi from nearest branch
No explicit reason given. I'm kind of surprised? I may call later.
I called. Even though their email said to call for more information, the CSR told me they could provide no additional information. I'm curious if it may be because my drivers license doesn't have my apartment number... maybe I'll try again with a passport? I don't know.
She did confirm that anyone in state was at least technically eligible.
Even though you are in-state, the application might have been declined because your address is too far from the bank's footprint:

Instant approval lol/24. No hard pull report on my end. Funded 2k Citi AA
Instant approval with lol/12 and lol/24 Chex. Nearest branch is ~30 miles. Was able to fund $2k with Citi Double Cash.
Could you please quantify "lol"? Roughly, are they higher or lower than mine: 2/1, 3/2, 4/3, 8/6, 21/12, 53/24
Wow glad youve been hitting hard. I am somewhere between 15-20/12 and 20-30/24, will have to check.
Given this is a small bank, then definitely a chex pull?
@guest_1936835 My P2 just got one. I didn't get that far.
Its not allowing me to open the account and when i called the CC it appears they are experiencing an outage.
Question - I closed my account about 11 months back. Am I still eligible?
