Update 2/2/23: Extended until 3/31/23.
Update 1/8/23: Extended until 1/31/2023.
Update 11/2/22: Deal is back and valid until 12/31/22. Not as good as when no direct deposit was needed. Hat tip to Chase-ing UR Points
Update 8/15/20: Looks like this program will be ending 8/21 according to a customer service rep. Previously we have listed this as MA/NH only but it works nationwide if you join ACC first. There are a number of datapoints of claw backs for the people doing the referring, so keep that risk in mind. Best if you get somebody you know to refer you if possible.
Update 7/16/20: Looks like anybody can sign up by joining the ACC first. I’ll keep MA/NH in the title so there isn’t too many applications at once.

- Promotion runs from 06/22/2020 to 12/31/2020 and is subject to change or be canceled at any time.
Avoiding Fees
Monthly Fees
The everyday checking account has no monthly fees to worry about.
Early Account Termination Fee
I wasn’t able to find any early account termination fee in the fee schedule.
Our Verdict
They have offered a similar deal last year, but no direct deposit was required. This credit union also has a 3% APY account with no requirements on balances up to $3,000 and the share savings account offers 5% APY on balances up to $500. I will add this to the best bank bonuses because of those high APY accounts. Feel free to share your referrals in the comments below.

After 4 months of "where's my bonus" phone tag, the bank supervisor finally called to tell me that I am ineligible since my DDs look like transfers to their system. My DDs were from a payroll company that their system didn't recognize (Novo). The transactions included my name so it appeared like a transfer, but these transactions should fall under "other sources of net income" per their T&C. So I filed a CFPB complaint. It was forwarded to the NCUA and to Service CU, and ultimately I finally got my $100 a month later.
DD Report.
Opened 4/1.
Real DD 4/14
Bonus did not post. Required multiple e-mail exchanges where the bank claimed different terms (dd amount different from what invite stated, DD must be recurring, etc.) than in the referral e-mail offer of a single $500 DD. Had to send them the referral e-mail received with terms of a single $500 DD and threaten a complaint to the NCUA.
Bonus posted 7/13 with no follow-up communication on dispute e-mail threads from the bank.
Thin on DP's here so sharing mine (so far).
3/23 - P1 signed up with referral, eligible via FFA (was already a member). Approved 3/24. Successfully CC funded $249 via FNBO Evergreen Biz Visa (lets you set CA limit to actual $0)
3/28 - P1 referred P2, qualified as a family member / approved. CC funding failed - was trying to use a Chase card, gave up and funded the minimum with a debit card (they called P2 after applying to let us know about the CC failing and collected debit card info over the phone).
Both received a Chex pull. No HP on credit
Both - April 15 & 30, May 15 & 30, Real DD's of $501 each
6/21 - Both - $100 bonus posted automatically to savings account
No sign of the referral bonus yet (for the person who referred me, nor mine for referring P2).
Did a chat 2 weeks ago to inquire about the missing referral bonus, they said I met the requirements and it would be credited in a couple of days. Still nada so I called today, got someone to go talk to a supervisor and it was credited a couple minutes after I hung up the phone.
3/1: Linked account with Ally Bank and pushed $501 to the checking account
It has been more than 90 days, so the push was a failure and I cannot initiate a real DD. I have pulled the funds from the bank account and will close it down. Unfortunately, I could not find a secure message system on the website, so I will have to call in to close down the account.
Has anyone had this payout recently (like in the last few months)?
I made two real DDs in February and no bonus yet. Lookin back through the comments it is hard to final anyone successfully getting a bonus.
Well my bonus posted today - 6/9/23 after a real DD in 2/23
They denied my bonus due to the deposit not being a recurring deposit. Submitted a CFPB complaint.
Terms stated that this offer ended on 3/31/23. Yet I see that people have tried to refer others after that date. I don't think that referrals will be valid if they are sent out after 3/31? If the offer comes back or the expiration date gets extended, I'm sure that someone will post about it. I haven't found a newer, current offer anywhere else, and when I login to my Royal Referral Center account, it still lists the 3/31 expiration date there.
Used a referral link, had a $510 legit DD hit in December. I was declined the bonus after several months of inquiries. Customer service said I didn't meet the criteria because my *full* paycheck was not deposited. No idea how they determine what amount these *should* be (seems like an invasion of privacy). But eh, I'm not going to push it.
Whatever, not worth $100 of my energy, but this may help others. Keeping for the primary savings rate. YMMV!
Why not file a CFPB complaint?
Wow that's nonsense.... I would have fought them over it, personally!
Could someone send a referral link to Treysc1999@gmail.com, Thanks!
