Avoiding Fees

Monthly Fees

Silver checking has no monthly fee to worry about. You do need to opt out of paper statements otherwise a $4 fee will be charged.

Early Account Termination Fee

I wasn’t able to find a fee schedule so I’m unsure if there is any early account termination fee or not.

Our Verdict

Previous best bonus was $100, but didn’t require a direct deposit. Personally think this is a better bonus as it’s significantly better, but that will depend on how easy it is for you to set up a direct deposit. I’ll be adding this to our best bank account bonus.

  • Application denied, told me that "This adverse action was taken due to incomplete, inaccurate, or false information contained within the application", which was based on a soft pull from Experian.
